Been coming here for years since I was 16. Went to the other locations before this one opened up. I love this place, they clean out your pores so well and take out any blackheads and whiteheads you may have. I bought a package deal for 550? I can’t remember but it comes with 12 facials. My favorite person here is Angel. She used to work at the other one in flushing before she transferred here. I recommend her she is so great with cleaning and massaging your body/​face. Everytime you buy a new package you either need to pay everything or in 3 installments. You can put a deposit down as little as 20 $ but that would mean your next two payments will be big. They have different kind of facials for your skin with machines and all.
I like this location better bcos the atmosphere is more nicer since it is new and you can get your own room since they are less busier then the other location on prince st. I also love the one on prince st but I moved here for Angel!

I came here because my friend opened an account here and she said it wasn’t bad, she’s never had facials before so I was a little skeptical. but this beauty spa is one of the more popular ones among the 8^th ave area. I on the other hand have tried a couple of spa places, a few on 18^th ave and one on 21^st avenue so i knew what to expect and i had expectations as well. I had read a previous Unilocaler say that she was able to put a $ 20 dollar deposit and pay as she go so i thought why not? On my first visit here i arrived promptly at 5 but was not accomodated until a good 45 minute later (this is with appointment) aggrivated i was just about to leave when the lady tells me shes ready and i can go change. after i change I am put in a tiny room where i am uncomfortably right next to a wall and the lady cant comfortably access all the pressure points on my neck or shoulder area to give me a decent massage she was basically just rubbing oil on me for a good five to ten minute.(uncomfortably i might add) afterward she asked if i wanted to be moved into the bigger room where my friends were so i thought why not. (please note that my friends started at 5) and i started an hour later* after the cleansing they do an massage then an extraction (its really not that painful and not that bad) If you are expecting a relaxing serene spa where you can take your mind off things THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. The ladies doing your facial will talk loudly among themselves as well as gossip about other people. What i didnt like most about it was she kept making comments very loudly in an antagonizing way about some scars I have on my face. Like I clearly know its there you do not have to bring it up over and over and mention it in front of everyone in the room. Usually at a facial place the lady is taking care of you the whole time she will do facial extraction massage and a final face mask, my lady was walking out and about, working on other clients and basically not with me longer than 25 minutes out of the supposedly 2 hour facial. Please note that a good 45 minutes of it is basically you sleeping in the room with a mask on your face listening to them talk very loudly outside. Tell me how my friends started an hour before me and I manage to finish the exact same time as them? This should have been a warning sign to me already but i thought maybe its just a fluke, when i got to paying i asked if i can put a little deposit and pay as i go she said okay and when she asked how much deposit i wanted to put i said $ 50 and the lady looked SHOCKED. like she’s never heard such thing before, she basicailly makes a face at you until you offer to pay more so reluctantly i paid 100. (this should have been my second warning sign) then they try to schedule you for a facial as soon as possible and I know my skin does not need a facial in two weeks.
second visit– my friend who got there before me specifically tells them that I did not want the same lady I had last time and she lets me know she told them so when i got there i see a different lady sitting there and i am relieved, she starts the cleansing for me and then they put cotton over your eyes and they did a whole switcharoo and i ended up with the same lady! not only do i get a lady that i did not want, that same lady that i didnt want gets up and leaves halfway into my facial. like literally she went home… who does that? by the time its time to take off a mask I get some other girl who takes it off for me. HENCE why im making this review because i never plan to go back to that place. Im taking my loss after 2 facials worth $ 30 each and i paid $ 100 total not including tips. I’ve had better facials and better massages everywhere else for a lot cheaper in a much more relaxed setting.
**note my friend who opened a $ 600 facial package an paid $ 400 after going 3 times has her lady tell her she has to pay the remaining balance the next time she goes, every time shes been going she paid $ 100 and she tips VERY well too so for them to rush her on payment when shes only missing $ 200 credit and still has 7 facials left is ridiculous. Girls/​Guys this is not a pay as you go place even though they try to advertise themselves as one and get you to join. DONT and their service is lacking. I would not recommend this place at all.

The place is small, but people are more calm and relax. The lady is nice. She spent almost 2 hours to do my facial. And she didn’t try to sell any other facial package to me. The price is reasonable. I book the $ 650 package, it comes with another 10 facials and eye treatment for free, so each facial is less than $ 30. If you don’t want to pay that much upfront, you can put down $ 20 as deposit, and pay as you go, so you won’t feel obligated. They have the other locations as well, but the busier they are, the worse the facial will be. I prefer this location because it is more relax and less busy.

It is my first time coming to this location, I used to do facial at the one on Hester street, chinatown same Sai kay21 and they have other locations. I find this one is closer to where I lived (bensonhurst) so I dont have to travel to chinatown all the time. I signed up for the package for $ 388. Winy is the person you should go to, she know what is she doing and she did a good job with the extractions. She took her time too. Boy! it was painful but after few days, your face will look nice. She is nice too and recommended me to buy this cream for acne. It was pricy $ 45 for 15ml but i saw good results though. I will come again sometimes next week to pay the rest of the package.

Ok this is for the 5106 8^th Ave location. I was serviced by Mei who basically breezed through my extraction and was so lazy she chose to trim not tweeze my eyebrows. I am very disappointed in the quality of SK21 facials.

Usually great facials for a good price but it’s not so relaxing. Beauticians talk loudly among themselves, answer phonecalls, and there are kids running around playing in the hallway. It’s so noisy!
Anyway, products are good and I never break out from the facials. I buy a package deal with a friend and it’s a great value.

I came here with my mom the other day and I loved it. The aesthetician did a great job of extracting my pimples. She also recommended an acne facial by G.M. Collins, which I got and now my acne is almost gone. My face had a lot of red spots afterward but they were gone after a few days. Really recommend this place!

I enjoy going to the facials here for 388 package you get 10+2 free so its around 30 a facial. Great deal. Just dont forget your account number and try to go to the place you opened it. I always seem to have trouble when i go to a different location since they dont recognize me. The massages hurt but they usually do a good job with the extractions and i love the mud mask. Face will be red but the next day its smooth and clean!
