Terrible place! Never go pls if you care about your hair!!! I guess they were on a hurry because they only did color on the top of my head. You think I wouldn’t realize it at some pint??? pls check out the pictures, you couldn’t see at that moment this cheap thing they did on my hair. So I had to go next day to pay AGAIN in another salon to fix this mess!

The place is pretty and open clean pricey but worth it compared to others in the area who charge the same and they are small packed etc smell like perm and burnt hair

I came here around the 24^th, to get two highlights. My plan was to get the strands bleached, and then dyed crimson a few days before school would start. School didn’t start yet, but I’m still enjoying my golden highlights! They did a great job on my hair, at Salon Gio. They made it look better than I could have imagined. I love it!

Love love love salon gio! I decided to dye my hair a little lighter blonde than it already is. Christina was my colorist and she did an awesome job! My hair was a brand new shade of blonde. Even though it was bleaching of the hair, my hair still looked healthy and didn’t feel dried out. About a month after that I came to see Alex, who did a blow out on me.
Today I went to get a hair cut done by Alex for the first time and for once a hair stylist took their time to help me make my side bangs perfect!
I must say the salon is great. Very clean, helpful and nice. Highly recommend this salon

I was a loyal Pilo Arts customer but met the owners and thought they were so nice I wanted to give their business a try. I get my hair cut by Ali and she does exactly what I ask, which is rare when you have long hair, stylists just want to chop the heck out of it. They will squeeze you in last minute. The salon is gorgeous and clean. I would’ve given 5 stars but I have only gotten my hair cut here and they offer so many other services that I cannot guarantee are as good as the cuts and blowouts… and sometimes the customer service slacks… hold time on phone, little slow with greeting, inconsistent level of friendliness. But overall, I love this place, the owners, the prices, the service… great hair, minus the attitude. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND giving this place a try.

I love Salon Gio! The staff is very friendly and provide a great environment. Alex is such a great stylist and Christina does wonderful color! Salon Gio is an elegant salon nearby in Brooklyn. You can really tell the staff takes pride in their work and business. I recommend coming here for any service: cut, color, massage, blowout, etc.

Salon gio is a good place to get your hair done. The only thing is that the prices are kind of high. It is clean with friendly staff members. I will be back!

Yesterday was my first time at that place, and i loved it. They did an awesome haircut and service was very good, also i liked a design of that place, looked cozy and stylish. I would strongly recommend it to everybody.

Its great here! I’ve had my hair cut by Crystal and Antonella they’re both AWESOME! Crystal did my hair trial for my wedding and Antonella did my mom’s– can’t wait to be there with my whole bridal party for my wedding in June! They’re attentive and get you anything – wine, coffee, water, espresso. great place!

This place is great, my wife goes here often for deep pore cleaning facials and she loves it.
She recently had a graduation party and many people who attended gave her Salon Gio gift certificates because they know how much she loves it there.
The prices are average for the services they offer and the place is beautiful, i went there to buy a gift certificate and i had a quick look around and it’s top quality. It does not look big from the outside but it’s grand inside. I plan on getting a deep tissue massage from here soon.

Been going here for over 15 years (to Tom actually — when he used to work for AF Bennett) He broke off and did his own thing and is quite good at it.
The staff is always pleasant, they give appointment reminder calls the day before (which have helped me many times) and the décor is great.
And about what the other person said about owners being incognito… umm, they are right out in the open, always greeting you! Tom is the one who cuts my hair! He has such a large client base that everyone who has been a regular knows he is the owner.
Oh yeah, he throws awesome Christmas parties too. What salon do you know does that?! lol
