Established in 2015.

Sarrica Physical Therapy & Wellness was founded by Dr. Marcello Sarrica, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS with a single mission; to develop a setting where clients will receive comprehensive, integrated, and individualized quality care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

Here at Sarrica Physical Therapy & Wellness our one hour initial examination with Dr. Sarrica will consist of a comprehensive history, assessment, treatment, and plan. Dr. Sarrica will also formulate an exercise program for home. Our follow up treatments consist of 45 minute one on one sessions.

We also provide personal training in a one on one private gym. Dr. Sarrica is a NSCA certified strength & conditioning specialist with 10+ years experience in this field. He will educate, motivate and keep you injury free. If you are new to exercise or having trouble staying fit, you need help to reach your goal. Our goal is to get you exercising regularly to obtain the results you want.

Business Owner

Dr. Marcello Sarrica PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS, received his doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2006 from Long Island University. Upon graduation, he was awarded the department’s highest honor of «clinical excellence.» He received his board certification as an orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS) by the APTA and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) by the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA). Marcello is also certified in CPR/​AED by the American Heart Association. Marcello maintains his NYS PT license by attending multiple continuing education seminars throughout the year.

Marcello’s background in exercise physiology, strength & conditioning and personal training has allowed him to work with individuals of all ages in Manhattan for the last five years. During this time he has successfully treated many orthopedic and sports medicine related injuries that are both post-​operative and non-​operative in nature.
