History

Established in 2008.

After attending Berklee School of Music, Scott moved to New York City, establishing himself as a teacher at the nonprofit, Midori and Friends. Scott continued to teach and play music, ultimately being invited to India to be a guest faculty member at the Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music, a 2-​year music college in Chennai, where he taught Piano, Music Theory, and Music Production in addition to leading student ensembles and participating in faculty performances.

A versatile multi-​instrumentalist with roots in classical, rock, folk, and r’n’b styles, Scott is also a published author, producing the music-​minus-​one series «The Best of Metallica» for Cherry Lane Print Music.

Scott is currently a teacher at Gowanus Music Club, a youth «rock school.» He is also collaborating with McGraw-​Hill on an upcoming series of music-​related online college courses.
