My son has been at Smart Start for the last three years. I can say this with no reservation: He’s very happy with friendly staff, excellent venue, and diverse group of friends he plays and fosters his friendship with.

My son went for a month for half day pre k. He really enjoyed it and so did I. He had great teachers. I liked the introduction to school using book bags and learning to share and play with others. Initially it was hard for him to learn to take turns and share but he was 3 years old not quite four and it was his first time in school. He wasn’t in day care. My son is very attached to me and he needed the half day to spread his wings. I took him out after a month only because we got a full day spot in a public school which benefitted my life better since I work nights and didn’t sleep during the day. Otherwise I would’ve kept him in. I’m writing this review because there aren’t many on this school and I want other parents to check this place out.

Well my daughter went here in 2009 for 6 months. When she started she was two years old. From the time we drove up to the building she would start crying terribly. Once inside she still was very timid and upset. I called about an hour later to see how she was doing and one of the teacher’s aid’s said«oh she stopped crying but she’s just whining». I mean really, do you describe a child being frustrated with something or a new environment as «whining». I did NOT like that at all. Furthermore and more importantly… the second day after I picked her up and drove home, I went to change her and she had a terrible rash.
