Was a customer for about two years. She cuts hair well and is a very nice person. Her prices are pretty reasonable. Why a 2? She should stick with regular cuts and coloring/highlights. Relaxers, Keratin or any of those treatments — she just doesn’t seem to have it down to a science. She ruined my daughter’s hair who lost clumps of hair. I brought her back immediately and she said it was normal. I didn’t want to make a scene but it was no way normal. She kept losing hair afterwards and the rest of the school year was tough for her trying to style her botched up hair. Horrible. I never set foot in that place again. My other daughter has had very bad breakage due to the treatments. Nice lady but not fully qualified.

Was recommended by two friends to check out Snips and Clips for a haircut and color a few years back. Glad I did, as Najia is awesome! She gives great haircuts and is fantastic at doing color and highlights. Her prices are reasonable and she is opened Wednesday thru Sunday. Najia’s salon is nice and very low key. She has many clients for many years. I recommend her to friends all the time!

To be fair, I haven’t been to Snips and Clips for a year, just because I haven’t been in the neighborhood — I’ve moved and my haircuts have been very rare, though as I write this, I need one desperately. Najia, the owner and primary stylist, does a great job cutting your hair and giving you color that suits you. Since 2001, I have had a single-process hair color, highlights, haircuts and even hair done for a friend’s wedding. She’s reasonably priced and does a great job. I will definitely return as soon as I can get out of work early as she’s pretty busy on the weekends and closes before 6 on weekdays. Note: She has relocated to Fort Hamilton Parkway and East 2nd Street.
