History
Established in 2013.
Spring Into Yoga began with the Spring Into Yoga Festival in Prospect Park on May 5, 2013, and was founded by Emily Buck, with the help of Ellie Aaron and Sterling Silverhorse. The response from the initial festival was so overwhelmingly positive, that after a few week hiatus, we came back every Sunday to Prospect Park. As demand grew, Saturdays, and Mondays-Thursdays were added. Spring Into Yoga is set to begin offerings in Central Park, Manhattan, on Sunday, June 16, 2013.

Business Owner
Emily Buck is a Brooklyn registered yoga teacher who works at many different gyms and studios throughout the city, giving classes to children 6 monthes old through adults! She found yoga in college after dancing for many years, and loves bringing fitness, happiness, and overall wellness to her students through her fun, blended yoga style. She received her training through Yogaworks, but has been influenced by many yoga styles, as well as dance, martial arts, and acting.
Teaching brings her great joy, and she especially loves to lead classes for underserved communities through donation or free classes, and has done much of her educating in the nonprofit sector.
Emily’s goal is to help students connect to their body, breath, and thought as deeply and truly as possible so that they can open themselves up to their own potential, and thus, better connect with those around them.
