Storage Post Brooklyn – Atlantic Ave.

My review is for the Storage Post located on Fordham Rd. off the Major Deegan in the Bronx. I’ve had a unit with them for over two years now and my complaint is they call you about your due bill one day past the due date. Now my bill is due the 28^th of every month; according to my contract I have 5 days grace period to get my payment in before they charge me a late charge. To get a call from Alex the manager ONE DAY PAST MY DUE DATE IS HARRASSMENT. I’m praying I get back on my feet soon so I can take my things out of their unit totally ratchet assed people can’t even abide by their own agreed contracts. If you’re looking for a unit go with somebody else.

I think management got the message. This is my second review of Storage Post. The current staff at the Atlantic Storage Post are great. I wouldn’t know where to began. Carmen who’s the current manager is always helpful and willing to go the extra mile for customer service. I get a lot of packages delivered and am renting four units. She’s always helpful and knows what’s going on even when I don’t. I must drive them crazy with all my request, but they’re always professional. So, I just want to say thanks guys for improving my experience at Storage Post.

I would like to thank two workers at the Atlantic Avenue Storage Post for going out of their way by making my storage dilemma a whole heck of a lot easier then it was going to be. They helped me out so much that I actually drove back there to get their names.
So Thank you very much Carmen Jiminez and Tim Badeo for doing more then is required of you during your day to day duties. This is not very common practice anymore and was a pleasure to experience.
If I have anymore needs for storage I would definitely return to this location based specifically on the treatment received by these two employees.

I tried to give them a chance but sadly companies like Storage Post failmiserably First I moved items into storage for a few months. I noticed If your a day late on payment they start racking up fees. Fast forward to leaving the storage unit I checked out balance was owed to me of almost 200.00USD. The woman at the counter said the refund would be mailed. She was pleasant at check out. I signed paperwork left with my lock and ext. My friend thought it was odd. Why would you mail it? Just put it back on the credit card you took the payment. When the customers want a refund… its a snail mail check. Well, it never came. Okay. After six months still no check. Just stolen money at this point. I emailed a woman named Carmen. She seems professional but she lacks follow through skills. I’ve emailed her numerous times and silence. Called and spoke to her and she says” How can I help you? «Im the lead mgr for the site.» Really? If you are then Storage Post need to rethink their hires. Finally, a manager calls one day to say please give me yout address so I can mail you the check. Two weeks later nothing. Ive called and ask for a owner number and info and nobody seems to get back. I CANNOT recommend Storage Post unless they offered me a HUGE APOLOGY. I wonder how many other customers they have cheated? This isn’t a lot of money but if you have thousands of customers this could add up to millions. I plan on filing a claim against them since they like to steal customers funds.

My husband and I have only been renting at this location for about three months. All the services are as promised thus far has been excellent, and as promised… a bit less expensive than the rest, high ceilings and clean. What moved me to write, however, was the exceptional customer service I received during a particular trying time last month.
My husband and I had a 5×5 that was crammed. We decided to move to a larger unit in the same location. We did the financial transaction, and was told that we had to complete the move that day or we would be charged for both spaces.
My husband left to drive me to work planning to go right back to make the physical transfer to the new unit. For reasons too weird to divulge, it turned out he could not return to make the transfer. And so, I was left alone to return.
I took one look the stuff in the unit and it was like I was seeing it for the first time. I was crushed. I didn’t know where to start. I didn’t know what to touch. I am tough, but tears welled in my eyes. Sounds corny but I whispered a silent prayer. It was then an angel named Carlos (with strong muscles) appeared and helped me … actually he moved everything and I helped him!
What he did was way beyond the call of duty. I found out that he was sent to me by the front-​desk person Ray; (I hope I got it right… it could be Jay) who had professionally and patiently completed the financial transfer for my husband and I earlier that day; and had heard my predicament when I returned.
I thank these two employees from the bottom of my heart because it is this extra service when clients are at their wits ends that is the epitome of customer service. Given the day we were having… what you did made such a difference that you will actually never know. THANK YOU!

I have been at this storage post since 01÷22÷10. the sevice was excellent never had any problems with the staff they always treated me with the most respect, they were always at my side when ever I needed them and the manager Nick would make sure that I was ok with everything He would go out his way to make sure that I was fine and had no problems, the place was always get very clean and the staff was also great nomatter what I needed they would help me out with most problem that would come uo.
if I would have to get another storage place I would come right back to this one on Atlantic ave. Brooklyln NY. it is the best and safest that I’ve come to yet. thanks guys keep up the good work.

I posted a valid review based on my personal experience with this Atlantic Ave location a few days ago but evidently Storage Post did not find it favorable and had it deleted. Really wish Storage Post was responsive to my inquiries prior to posting on public forum.
Censorship on Unilocal?not cool, not useful and not helpful.
While I try to locate the original feedback and attach to this review the bottom line is this: Storage Post @ 3325 Atlantic Ave is just a poorly managed business. There is a disconnect somewhere and the feedback was meant to bring those issues to light so that they could be addressed and current and/​or prospective customers would have a better storgae experience.
