Lazy AF. They don’t accommodate their customers. Like they don’t even try. Will try the many other cleaners in the area.

Do not take anything here if you need it quickly. While their ticket claims«same day service,» it is unfortunately not true. I brought in a suit yesterday morning, asking to pick it up the following morning. We agreed on an 11 am pickup. When returning, I was informed it will not be ready until the end of business hours, equaling a 7 am pickup the following day. After this, I unfortunately will not be bringing other items here again.

When I brought in my USAF extreme cold weather pants to get cleaned of some spots on one of the knees which I had made, the proprietor was confused, thinking that dry cleaning was not appropriate. I showed her the label, which said ‘Dry Cleaning Only’. They went a little overboard, and my pants still reek of the strong chemical smell. They also overcleaned them, I think, because though they were perfectly new when I brought them in, they look very used now, since a fine chalk-like substance has lightened the double seam areas around the pockets and knee pads. So sad. I also want to mention that when I went to pick them up only a few days after the ticket said they were ready to be picked up, she couldn’t find them in her small shop and spent 7 minutes or so looking. I won’t be coming back here, for sure. I’m going to be taking my dry cleanables to a ‘Green’ cleaner from now on. If I can’t even handle people’s perfumes and home cleaning fluids, I certainly can’t handle the over zealous use of dry cleaning liquid. I’m getting a headache from wearing them right now, and it’s been a week since I picked them up. Wish I had read these reviews first. It’s two months later, and my pants still smell strongly of dry cleaning fluid.

I really want to rate them at a 2, but there haven’t been many mishaps, so I’ll be fair… This use to be my go to spot… reliant, convenient and all of the above, but my last visit wasn’t that pleasant and they are on a serious timeout! I brought in my white jacket and pointed to the trouble areas… the older woman said I know, I will check everything — fine! I pick up the my jacket and STILL see makeup or whatever it is on the same spot I pointed out. The gentleman was who brought my garment out, so I asked if they couldn’t get the spot out. He took another look and the older lady said«I already told her that we can’t clean». Keep in mind she was already helping a customer but felt the need to be rude, in addition to her NOT telling me that initially. I responded to her and left. I will take my business elsewhere… for now.

I am also not that impressed. I took a spring dress there for a relatively simple hem. However, the woman I dealt with only pinned up the front of the dress. I’ve had too many uneven dress hems to trust that sort of rush job. When I asked if she would go all around the hem, to make sure that it was even, she seemed kind of put out but she did it anyways. By the time she had finished pinning I could tell that our ideas of an «even hem» were radically different. I ended up going to my regular tailor in Midtown. When it comes to alterations, I can’t afford to pay for someone to ruin my clothes. Maybe they’re better at cleaning?

What… why so expensive. Im not impressed. This is Brooklyn people not mid-town. If you must go ahead, but I am sure there is better.
