Horrible place. The delivery came with the wrong food so we called back & told them the correct order. Then they came back with the wrong order again. The food was disgusting. Wonton soup inedible and the sesame chicken sauce sucked

Its a yummy szechuan place. Good for if you are in the mood for hot and spicy food. The wait staff was so friendly when I went to go pick up my order even though I was only there for a few minutes to pay. I’ve only ordered takeout/delivery but my experience was just so pleasant I really want to just sit down and enjoy a meal there, also, looking at the menu, it’s very family style dishes so it would be great to sit in and enjoy as many dishes as possible with the fam. If you do take out, just use common sense, if you get beef SOUP noodles and are late for pickup they might get soggy, not the restaurants fault just chemistry. I’m very timely with my pickups, if you tell me 15min, I will be there, in the restaurant, in 15min. Haven’t ever had a problem.

You know you’re at an authentic Szechuan restaurant if your tongue starts tingling when you start eating. I came here with my family last weekend without great expectations as this storefront has been home to a plethora of revolving Asian restaurants for the past couple of years, however everything was great! We ordered: — Beef tripe with chili oil: cold appetizer, heavily marinated with chili oil so quite spicy. — Mapo tofu: good, tastes like a standard mapo tofu. Very saucy with a hint of heat. — Salt & pepper squid and shrimp: deep-fried squid and shrimp. Cute presentation. Not a standout, but good. — Double-cooked pork belly: I live for Szechuan-style pork belly! This hit the spot — it had a hint of spice but was not overwhelming and the pork belly was cut super thin, which pretty much determines how good it’ll taste. — Cumin lamb chops: the lamb was thinly sliced — I was expecting more of a hunky lamb chop, but the thinness allowed it to get very crispy with a fried texture, which I liked. This was packed with chilies and was very spicy, but I liked it. All in all, pretty good and I’d come back. They’re also offering a a spend $ 50 — get $ 10, spend $ 100 — get $ 20 coupon for your next visit.

Left my original review on their other name, in an attempt to help them clear the confusion between their three names. I also submitted a merge request to Unilocal, because I WAS interested in helping this restaurant become known. What just happened to me is totally NOT okay — my last review of four stars was on 1÷3÷16. Since then, I have eaten at this place one other time. They’re received quite a bit of my money since i discovered them. Seventeen days later, they actually run the credit card transaction and it overdrafts my account. How is this okay? I used to work in banking, you can’t sit on transactions for this long. Will spend the next hour of my day trying to fix this with the bank… will never eat here again on principle. If you can’t run the credit card within 2 days, or you forget, you can’t come back seventeen days later and bill someone. You have to accept that you’re out the money — I promise the publicity you would have received from my positive reviews would have been worth more than the meal you failed to charge me for. You cannot charge someone 17 days later. It’s cruel, and it just cost me a ton of extra money, and affects my standing with my bank.

Recommended by Unilocalers we ordered beef tendon in chili oil which has a kick and stays on the tongue so not really the throat. Scallion pancakes were fried nicely but either needs a soy sauce dip or more scallions for flavor. Soup dumplings were ok, nothing special. The twice cooked pork is really good. Not too spicy but watch out for the green peppers which camouflage with the chives. Tea smoked duck wasnt that great and can be skipped. Didn’t have room for dessert unfortunately.

Tried this place at random and was pleasantly surprised. The waitresses were friendly and very efficient. The food fresh and extremely tasty. If you are searching for some authentic Szechuan look no further than this small Bensonhurst spot.

Stumbled upon this page when i was searchin for dinner. Read the reviews(which werent alot) and saw some pics. Decided to order from here and they delivered too(yay!) we ordered dan dan noodles, ma paw tofu, eggplant casserole, the fu chie fie peen(bad w pinyin), spicy wontons and double cooked pork. Delivery took awhile. Dan dan noodle was a big order btw. It was decent i wish it had more spicy oil. I jus felt like it was fully peanut sauce. We enjoyed everything else and actually is very good tasting compared to other sichuan restaurants we’ve tried. Definitely will order from here again. And w the dandan noodles will prolly ask for extra spicy oil on the side so i can add away!

Tried this place out twice so far. Husband recommended this place because he tried it a few times he ordered take out for work. I am little skeptical trying all spicy food because i dont like spicy food to that extend. Upon arrival it was a quiet ambience and only 2 tables were eating when we got there. You know me i judge a place based on their fullness inside. The place was nicely decorated and homey. Each table had a little vase with fresh flowers as centerpiece for that extra touch. I thought might be a missed since we often eat around the neighborhood for breakfast and I passed this place many times without a thought coming inside one day. The place was nice & cozy. There are couple of smaller tables and 2 big round tables for larger guests to cater. The chef is the husband(owner) and waitress is the wife. Whom are both very nice and exceptionally cater to our needs the whole time. Appetizers: 1st visit: First thing we order was the thin sliced pork with minced garlic to start us off… i tho was gonna be very hot coz the hot oil. Hesitant to try(hates fatty meats) and finally gave in to try. To my surprise was not at all. It was mildly sweet with hint of spice only. Next up we ordered the beef tendon but we wanted our daughter to try too since she tried it before from other places. We asked the chef to make it mild. She couldnt stop eating it. Towards end she tasted a hint of spice but overall she loved it. It does get a bit spicy so i can imagine if u can take the spice go for normal. The burning goes away after a little time unlike other spicy food. It keeps you burning and drinking stuff to cool down. I love cucumber in minced garlic sauce as well. Whenever I see it i have to order it. We ordered it mild again because of our daughter. It was hint of sweetness and a kick of spice to finish off. I was loving it so much i basically ate the whole thing myself. 2nd visit: had the cucumber mince garlic sauce(normal) a bit spicy for my liking but still ate the whole thing. We tried their new item on menu the chicken wings cooked in chilli and black pepper. Entrées: 1st visit: smoked tea duck, we tried it since its my 2nd time trying. This one is flavored really well and can really taste the tea in this. It wasnt too dry but this was the least fond dish we liked of all dishes. The whole live fish we style fish which resemble 水煮魚(fish in chilli broth). It was cooked with black pepper and a lot of chilli. The broth was red as can be because the hot oil was also in it. I was scare it would be spicy and i cant take it. The fish was already pre taken apart so when you dig in its easy for you take out and place on plate. The broth is prepared with bean sprouts for extra filling if you can eat more. We ended up eating all the fish and couldnt finish the bean sprouts. Cumin spare ribs was good and flavorful but it wasn’t something that i am a fan of. Husband really liked it because it was different and unique. 2nd visit: had the chestnut pork with brown sauce(橘子紅燒肉). Omg i think I died and went to heaven with this dish! I really dislike fatty meat. This is probably the 2nd dish i had i do not mind at all and in love with it. The first i tried is Dong po pork(東坡肉) and when i think i cant find none better, boy was i wrong! I love the chestnut in there and the pork was so tender. The fat just melts in your mouth i dont even know what else to say. We finished the whole thing. I am definitely gonna want to order this everytime we come! It is not expensive either. Under $ 12! What a steal. Mapo tofu was also good. It was just a slight hint of spice and my daughter was hesitant to try it and i made her eat one and she was loving it so much. She ate her bowl of rice just off that.

I don’t eat Szechuan often but this is pretty damn good. I went twice and both times, I ordered the«salt + pepper squid + shrimp». Superb! The shrimp is fried well enough that you can eat the whole shrimp w/the shell ! Don’t get this if you don’t like salty dishes — but the flavor might be enough to win you over ;) Everything I ordered(both times) was good. Of the dishes that I remember, here are my favorite in order: 1. «salt + pepper squid + shrimp» 2. «Dried Pepper Style Lamb» 3. «Saliva Chicken»(not sure if this is on the menu, but it’s a cold half chicken in a cold(light spice) broth. It’s an appetizer for 4 ppl) 4. «Mabo Tofu» There was also a vegetable dish I can’t remember the name(it would have been #5). It was just some delicious and moist lettuce haha. The head waitress/hostess speaks Cantonese/Mandarin/English fluently. She’s got good recommendations.

Great quality Sichuan food. We ordered fish, kungpao chicken, and fu chi fei pien. All were delicious, but chicken stands out. Good prices too. Can’t go wrong.

the food here is delish, been there 4 times already the staff are quick and efficient, come here to order family style, trust me you’ll enjoy much more my faves are the fish in sauce, fried white fish, and fried shimp, this is lightly battered(not like popcorn battered, so easy on the tummy). the dumplings are good too, they have wonton and a spicy. they have very good beef(very thin sliced) with cabbage. They are also very accommodating for BYO dessert and wine.

Very authentic Szechuan dishes. A must try. The owner and cook are from Szechuan. My wife is from Chongqing and she loves it. It’s by far the best Szechuan restaurant in Brooklyn. Two words… yum yum.

Food is good but the boss really needs to learn more about how to conduct a business. I called them for delivery, the guy who took the call told me that dishes I ordered taste better if I go eat in their restaurant. Wat? 30 minutes later, no delivery, I got another call from them telling me since the materials for the dish I ordered are fresh, they have to charge me $ 3.00 more. WTF? After I said no they told me they’re not cooking the dish with fresh materials and I’ll have to order a new one. OMG. Don’t want to deal with all the craziness any more.

New business in the neighborhood, incredible delicious food if you like spicy food. Me and my husband come here like three times a week, the people who works there are nice and patient, they serve food fast and fresh. Also the combo food like spicy tofu rice combo have a really great price. One more thing I like this restaurant is because they do delivery. 5 star for sure.
