This place seriously hates clothes. I brought in a blouse(it was not cheap) that had a sash. when i picked up the blouse the sash was missing. they said they would find it. I came back in three days, they couldn’t find it. when i asked them what they would do to make this right, they offered to make a new one. i came back a week later, they had taken a scrap from the interior of the blouse and made a sad choker. when i said this was unacceptable, they said, «there’s nothing more we can or will do.»

I honestly don’t know how this place stays in business. At first I thought the older man who runs the store was charming and I liked giving my business to him. I overlooked the lack of organization when dropping off my dry cleaning(it made me nervous but I didn’t have any problems) and was generally happy with the service and prices. Now that the original owner has taken ill his sister runs the store and has no clue what she’s doing. I lost two sweaters and a dress — a $ 200 value. She had no explanation for how or why this was lost. She has no system of organizing the intake(I assume it’s all outsourced) and no ‘lost and found’ bin if wash’n’fold items get mixed up with other services. Don’t go here, it’s not worth the risk of losing your clothes.

This place is my go-to in Williamsburg. Super affordable(I don’t know of any cheaper places in this area) and the people are the nicest you’ll meet. Was sad to see so many people on here had bad experiences, but I’ve only got good things to say. I’ve been going here since they opened and have always been very happy with the service and the job they’ve done!

Just returned from this tailor/dry cleaners. He ruined my wedding dress because he didn’t prepare the dress before putting it in the machine. As a result, different colors bled on it and threads have been pulled totally ruining the dress. My husband and I went to cordially and politely complain to be compensated for the dress. Instead, the owner began yelling and flailing his arms claiming it wasn’t his fault. He snatched the envelope containing the letter of complaint out of my hands and threw it on the floor, and told us to get out of his store. This was, by far, the worst dry cleaning experience I have ever had. We will be taking legal action. Also, the place is a crazy mess. He has clothes, boxes, papers, and hangers all over the floor. There is no organization system and he’s given me another person’s dry cleaning before, which I politely returned. More than anything else, he is incredibly unprofessional. I REALLY do not recommend this place for anything.

My first two times I got one item dry cleaned and everything looked fine. My third time I took ten items, figuring this place was a safe bet, and had half the items ruined. One dress went from knee-length to waist-length. Another dress went from a snug fit to a baggy triangle. A sweater came back with arms that were 3 inches shorter. A silk shirt grew by two sizes. We took everything back and the owner insisted that it was not a big deal and an artifact of his«green» techniques. He also insisted that getting your clothes back without chemicals was a worthy trade-off for getting them back the same size you dropped them off. He said he’d re-steam them for free and it would fix everything. Three re-steaming tries later, nothing was salvageable. We’ve gone back to the dry cleaners on Metropolitan.

I was excited when this place opened, but disheartened when I got my first load of dress shirts back … basically they weren’t pressed at all. After I complained they offered to redo them, however I then got them back the 2nd time they were as stiff as a board(literally — you could hold the flat arm straight out) … I found it very off putting that they didn’t know how to properly press dress shirts.
