The Art of Tint has cured my fishbowl sydrome on my Honda Civic. I showed up without and appointment to find they were just finishing up with a Lexus GS-​F. I was greeted by Fabio who asked me what I wanted. He was patient, thorough and informative. Fifteen minutes later, Fabio and his team did what they do best. A good power wash, wipe down and then the cutting. Mind you they focus solely on automative tinting unlike other jack-​of-​all-​trade shops, master of none. So just under 90 minutes, my car was looking better than ever. Extremely satisfied and will recommend them to anyone looking for quality and care.

I have been to many tint shops throughout my years driving and this one hits it out of the ball park. They are meticulous in the art of tinting. They go over the different tints and let you choose with no pressure. They are slightly more expensive then your usual tint shop but they use quality paper and do quality work. I highly recommend this place and all work comes with a life time transferable warranty. They even rinsed down the car after it was all done.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting a few of the last true Gentlemen in this world… and they tinted my windows! If you are looking for a Tint Shop who guarantees quality work and appreciates your business, stop right here. The Art of Tint located in Brooklyn NY just recently tinted the windows on my 2016 BMW M235i. The quality of work was outstanding. They took great care to avoid dust contamination by hosing down the shop floor prior to commencing work. They were fast, methodical, precise and the proof is in the end product. My car was given a quick rinse and wiped down with clean towels that left no scratches. There is a level of pride in this Shop that I rarely see, I was truly impressed. Pricing was on par and industry standard. I have had my windows tinted from Las Vegas to Florida… these guys are truly excellent. If you’re located in NY, NJ, PA, CT or even DE… it’s worth your trip.

Can’t say enough good things about the people here. They tinted my truck for me. The window tint had a manufacture defect that was only detectable once the tint dried. They were more than happy o replace it for us as soon as it was convenient to us, and even offered to pay for our lunch while we waited.

I was recommended by a friend to go visit these guys. I am very iffy with a lot of these big talk — big slogan businesses with no walk or action. You don’t get that here. Tom and his team are very regal and honest. They strictly do vinyl tinting and they are A MASTER of it. I took in my wife’s Subaru Outback and within 30 minutes they were done. Fabio is the man! He is quick and very professional. He definitely doesn’t mess around and will give you his honest opinion. I got the Llumar Classic (and so regret not having enough money to invest on Pinnacle) and it looks amazing. I was quoted in other spots with 3M FX which is not even close to LLUMAR FormulaOne for half the value. If you want HALF ASS you get CHEAP and HALF PRICE. You invest money on quality and good people. They put in time and work. Why not pay for what they are worth? This is where the masters play. I high recommend them and I highly recommend the FormulaOne Pinnacle. Had my brand new Subaru Legacy tinted here, with all windows tinted, including the front windshield and moonroof. Tom was very diligent in emailing me back with my questions and concerns and also over the phone. Very patient, very detailed, exactly what I look for with installers and services, they should have a passion and/​or love for what they do. They’re professional and will walk you through the steps of what’s to be done and how it end up as, no hassle, no hard up-​sales or rush throughs.
I set up an appointment, showed up just before it, Fabio went over the shades and all, I chose what I wanted for each window (I didn’t get a uniform shade, as I had varying needs with varying passengers). I chose the high end film Pinnacle Ceramic, as I was mainly concerned with UV protection and heat reduction (not to mention the privacy and sleek look) and they said it would take about 3hrs to do, it being seven windows to be tinted.
I picked up my car, they went over everything, handed me the brochure and warranty card. Over the next few days, I noticed some bubbles with dirt and a crease line in my line of sight in the front windshield, that wasn’t curing. Emailed Tom about it and he set me up to bring it right back in for a removal and replacement, no questions asked. Also redid a back window tint as well, that I was unhappy with, but they did both without any question or attitude, just wanted to make sure I was satisfied with the job and I was in the end.
They only do two cars at any one time (garage/​shop is small), with about 2hr blocks for each car/​appt, but all they do is just tint!
These guys are high end installers and not your run of the mill 30min tint job shop, that you see with the $ 99 specials and you pay for it again a year later, in one way or another. If you’re serious about getting a proper and spectacular tint job, this is the place to go and you won’t be disappointed.

If you knew me, you’d know that I’m a bit psycho when it comes to my cars. Whether its having at least 10 Microfiber towels in my glove box or parking on the highest floor at the parking garage, there’s no doubt I have a certain level of OCD with my car… But so do Tom and Fabio at The Art of Tint.
I’ve been a customer for about 10 years and have tinted at least 15 cars that I can remember, and every single time the tint job is absolutely perfect. They always go above and beyond to make sure the tints have no bubbles, scratches, or marks and work around your schedule to setup a good time for you to come in.
Their level of craftsmanship shows in the clientele that they service… Don’t be surprised to see a Ferrari, Lamborghini or a pair of Maserati’s when you come by, but don’t expect to pay an inflated price tag either.
Take my word for it, there is no one that will tint your car better than them.

Arrived promptly at my scheduled time and they opened a spot for my TSX in their garage to get me started and out on time. Car previously had the sides and back tinted so I came in for a functional Air 80 Pinnacle tint for my windshield.
Service:
Timely, friendly and most of all, professional. I wasn’t too set on the tint that I wanted, but Tom (owner) brought me to the side to demonstrate the effect of heat reduction using different tints. Ultimately went with 80% in the front for heat reduction. (Air 80 Llumar Pinnacle)
Environment:
Probably my favorite thing about this shop. I requested to watch them work on my car and another BMW 5 series in the shop and they pulled up a chair for me. Throughout the process, I asked questions out of curiosity and Tom always made an effort to answer them. You can clearly recognize that he has passion for his work.
BONUS:
After learning a little bit about tints, I stepped up to check the quality of the other tints that had been done on my car and not surprisingly, they had already taken a look at the quality of the other work done on my car. Really reassuring to have guys that go OVER the top when it comes to their specialty.
Overall, very fairly priced, lifetime warranty, and tons of knowledge behind every job. Car feels significantly cooler, go Air 80 guys! Would recommend.

Called Tom on Saturday morning and had my Ford Edge Sport tinted Saturday afternoon. The service here is exceptional as well as the finished product. I’ve had many vehicles tinted over the years and this was the best job I’ve ever had done. The quality of the film outstanding not to mention the warranty. After having a piss poor job done at another shop, I started searching for the best tint shop in nyc, and this shop was mentioned by multiple high end car forum.
I’m still in the drying stage, and the weather hasn’t been cooperating much. But it is already looking good and a few more sunny days should render it spotless.
I especially like their facility, small but super clean, and they only do one car at a time by reservations. Fabio was also nice to work with.

Wonderful workers! Made an appointment over the phone and had all my questions answered with no problems. The next day I arrived about 20 minutes early and Fabio waved me in, told me the work would take about an hour and they would call me when the car was ready. I received the phone call the work was done and it was flawless! Fabio is the man! Top notch work! Fabio and Markis did the tints — only the two fronts — My SUV (Mercedes ML) comes factory tinted for the rest. They did a match to the factory tint, and I am very happy with the results. Fabio and Markus were very informative for any questions I had. I left knowing I had gotten quality work done. Thumbs up guys!

These guys do a great job with their tints. They are definitely experienced pros at their craft. Fabio and Markis took their time to cut and apply the tints perfectly, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. Price is reasonable for the amount of man hours put into the work, and I would highly recommend getting your tints done by these guys. The owner Tom gave me the estimate over the phone along with my options, and there were no surprises when I came in to get the work done. THUMBS UP all around!

I called up Tom and had no trouble making appointment. He is very conscious of people’s time and makes sure to under promise and over deliver on the time it requires to complete the tint job.
When I dropped off my car (right after picking it up from the dealership with less than 50 miles on the car), he was able to show me how each tint would look like (I ended up going with 35% tint) and also showed me cars with the front windshield tinted with the clear tint.
All in all, the staffs and Tom are extremely professional and completed tinting the car within the time frame they quoted. The quality of the tint service was top notch and he even mentioned that if there are any bubbles that surfaces at a later time, they would work with you to make sure you are 100% satisfied.
Overall, I was very happy with the service I received and would definitely recommend it to others.

Just got my Nissan altima 2014 tinted with the pinnacle tints. I must say, the pinnacle tints are well worth the investment. Not only do they look great, they minimize the heat from the direct Sun into the vehicle. It’s like a cloudy day on a sunny afternoon.
The service was top notch. Not only did Fabio the technician do an awesome job applying the tints. (No bubbles) he had me in and out in 2 hrs or less time. He was very detailed, I know this from the work he did. He also cleaned up the car as if it just came out the carwash. Both Fabio, and Tom were very knowledgeable about different tinting films. Oh. and did I mention, their prices are very economical. You getting a bargain for the detailed work and quality tints.
