Huge location, but the inside looks dark and dreary. They definitely need an upgrade on décor. The crowd is younger than where I like to chill. The music is great.

I try not to bash«poor people» because it was not too long ago when I was a full time undergraduate/part time security guard making 10.00 an hour. BUTLETMEWARNEVERYBODY. Soca on demand is my fav party right now, but DONOTGOTOANYSOCAONDEMANDWHENIT’S FREEBEFORE A CERTAINTIME, JUSTBUYTHEDAMNTICKETS. IT’S ONLY15DOLLARSFORCRYINGOUTLOUD!!! The line for the men was a complete mess. Don’t get me wrong this is not Webster hall. Base night club is run like a well oiled machine. The security is no joke. The pat down is boarder line a sexual harassment case. The men on the line was pushing, saying«if I’m not getting in free I’m not partying». IT’S NOTTHESERIOUSWEALLWILLGETINTHECLUB, ANDSOWHATIFYOUDON’T GETINMY11PMJUSTPAYTHEDAMN25DOLLARDOORFEE. I understand that the line is long and the wait is longer. However, the party was cracking once I got inside.

The Base is chill spot influenced with Caribbean flavor. Very cheap admission probably below twenty dollars on special nights. They have alot of concerts in here. This place is really huge and the deejay usually plays dancehall reggae and soca. If you are in Brooklyn and wanted to know of any dancehall reggae spots, this is place you may want to check out but make sure you go to to see if there are any special events going on.
