This the worst experience ever.
My husband and I need a door and Windows for the whole house. We picked what we wanted and then tried to find someone to help us order. NO ONE RESPONDED to the page. We asked 5 different employees and no one knew anything about how to help us other than to page some one else that never came. So after 30 – 40 minutes waiting to order doors and windows we left — maybe Lowe’s would like the business!
P. S. We went to Lowe’s and someone was in the department and we ordered everything we needed maybe Home Depot should learn from them.

I went into this location yesterday looking for cabinets and appliances, ready to spend $ 18,000 and the woman that I asked for help, she says; «I haven’t had a break since 10:00, I can’t help you and walked away» it was 1:30. Lowes appreciated my business. Thanks.

Great place to shop of you are looking to renovate your house they have everything you need the only thing is that you have to Waite on big lines!

As a girl who doesn’t know crap about repairs, The Home Depot is the first place I run to. I needed to have my grout done and my boyfriend needed the tools and supplies for my bathroom tiles. We were able to find parking easily, and the store wasn’t too crowded for a Saturday. The location is fairly large and the selection of paints, chandeliers, appliances, tools and cement along with plumbing items.
The sales rep we found was a huge help, he was able to show us every single tool and gave us instructions on how to pick out the old grout and put in new grout using floaters and saws. What I liked the most is he was able to find grout that was ready for use and mixed already and he found all of these items at the cheapest price, he taught us a lot and he was very enthusiastic about his job.
We then went into the isle for blinds where there was actually a clearance for some of the vinyl blinds, it turns out Home Depot always runs sales on items that literally cut the price in half. I was able to score nice blinds for 8 bucks! The only thing that pissed me off is the sales rep was not too helpful in helping us figure out the measurement for the window since we didn’t do it in advance. The blinds run in odd sizes and all she could say was «if it is too big, bring it back and let us cut it, otherwise I don’t want to bother with your measurement estimate». so this means we would have to make two trips? um NO not cool. Luckily the blinds I purchased fit my window despite it being an odd numbered measurement.
Of course my boyfriend wandered Home Depot’s tools section like screwdrivers and drills, this is a total playground for men and he was very happy with the prices and the huge organized selection. The famous brand HDX is sold where you can have a 6 in 1 screwdriver, tools like that are really useful for a lifetime and they don’t cost a fortune.
I also liked that there was a decent bathroom here, there have been so many times where I was shopping and forgetting that I had to pee, and then it turns out there was no bathroom at all.
In addition, I also liked how fast that lines were, some were self checkout where there was always staff there to help us run price checks, while others had cashiers that worked fast. Overall for blinds and grout items we didn’t spend more then 50 bucks, now that’s a bargain!
They also have the option of having someone from depot come to your house to install the items you purchase on the same day. You can even rent a truck for 20 bucks an hour, which is perfect for moving or large purchases.
P. S. there is a yummy food truck right outside with good finger foods and platters: D

Terribly rude employee, not even wearing a Home Depot uniform, but some street clothes and hat. Not helpful at all.

We had a list — we checked it twice — we spent two hours and a grand and got everything we needed. Spoke with and was helped by 6 different associates in different departments and all were pleasant, helpful and showed us what we asked for and offered options too. We needed four wire rack & stacks and bonus they were on sale. Only three left on the floor, but after the associate helped me lift them on the cart he went to the back and got the fourth we needed. Big parking lot, plenty of carts and they were busy but check out was still quick & easy.
Extra — my biz partner has bad knees so it was great that they have those battery scooters charged up & ready to go by the door. Made it easy for him to zip around the store and buy more.

Ordered a door installation and the company home depot used did an amazing 5 star job. BUT when i went to home depot again to rent a van and some dry wall with studs i was sent to 3 different places to answer my question about where to rent a van, then they told me to wait 1 hour which i did. When it was time the guy told me to take out my driver license and insurance i told him i dint have a car so i don’t have insurance and no one told me when i called 3 times and spoke to few other people, i though like others they sale insurance. the guy laughingly points to a sign that says name on license must match name on insurance, the sign was behind a guy standing in front of it when i was told to wait 1 hour. Then he smirks and says there is a sign and that’s all…
I get it that the workers don’t care, but before telling someone who is clearly renting a van from you for the first time, tell me what will be required before telling me to wait one hour…

I went there to buy an Emerson Sensi thermostat and asked them to price match
. They refused. I asked to speak to the Store Manager, and he stated that
is «not a competitor» nor a retailer that they price match and thus, the price match could not be honored. This price match policy is terrible. The store manager was also unfriendly and argumentative. I will continue being a loyal customer of
and NOT Home Depot. I guess you guys would rather lose a sale through providing a negative customer experience and keep pushing customers to competitors. To the rest of the world reading this review, take your business and loyalty elsewhere.

Where do I begin. If you come here to shop better bring some common sense cause if you ask these lame brain and lazy «its not my area» mentality workers on help finding items FORGET IT. I was given wrong info from multiple persons and one gave me an answer before I asked the question. Home Depot management take notice. Your customers shouldn’t have to put up with this sub par service. The only help I received was from a gentlement named Michael at the self service checkout. Kudos to him the rest should be retrained.

It’s a shame the work ethic of today went down the drain, but you can always go to home depot and by draino, and clear it up for about 5 minutes until it clogs again. That’s how I felt when I report my complaint to the manager or whoever’s in charge, god help me I have no idea how they even got that position. They tell you what you want to hear and it sort of makes you feel at ease until the next day when someone else contacts you and you have to explain the whole thing again, and it just repeats itself over and over and it don’t stop. Someone different always contacted me with a different story, not even knowing what was happening! I felt like I was going fuckin crazy. Please, please, please, if your getting work done on your home, and you come here, you’ll be sorry. Everything sounds easy when you sit down with the shmuck salesperson in the back that knows absolutely zero about construction, just know’s the computer in front of him and takes your money, that’s it. Support local contractors that actually do the work, not what Home depot does, sub it out to lousy companies like A Better Door LLC located in Long Island that have no clue how to deal with the public. BBB is getting a complaint as well after this one.

Needed a 7 ft. 3 in. Jack Post Adjustable Steel Building Support Column 3 and the app and website showed there were 2 in stock. When I got there both had their top caps broken off. I informed the associate working nearby and he just took a look, shrugged and went back to work.
No offering to let me know if there were more in stock or if another shipment was coming in. I checked again before writing this review and those 2 same columns are still in stock.
Apparently, the associate doesn’t care.

I like the convenience of this location, does not get super crazy like other locations I have been to. Parking is not an issue but really hard to get help sometimes.
When you need to find something it seems like you cannot find any assistance. They have good hours of operation as well, open pretty late

The staff here won’t ask if you need assistance, so you’ll have to approach them and ask for help instead.
Lowes offers more modern interior styles to choose from, compared to The Home Depot, in my opinion.
I come here if I need house supplies as soon as possible because it’s close to home, but other than that, I wouldn’t need to.
There are very limited cashiers open, since they want you to check out your items by yourself.
Instead of buying tools, you have the option to rent them (just like those college textbooks!).

My apologies in advance for the novel sized length of this review. In case you don’t feel like reading the entire thing, here are the main points: their inventory isn’t accurately represented on the website and their employees are beyond rude.
It’s hot as balls in Brooklyn, so I went to the website to order an air conditioner to pick up at the store. It said that there were 4 available at this location and I was relieved that I’d be able to pick it up the following morning. However, less than 10 minutes after I received the confirmation email, I received one that said my order was cancelled. I called customer service to inquire, and the woman on the phone was very friendly and helpful. She put me on hold so she could call the store directly and, when she got back on the line, she told me that they were sold out of that model but it hadn’t reflected online yet. She told me she spoke to the manager, Malik, and he told her that he would give me a different model that was $ 50 more expensive but would mark the price down to the one I had originally purchased. She also told me that she was making a note on the account, so if the employees were having an issue, they could call and get the information. I was happy to hear this and was extremely satisfied with the offer.
The next morning, I went to the store. It was 11am on a weekday, so it wasn’t crowded at all. However, even though there was only one person ahead of me, I still ended up waiting on the line for nearly 45 minutes. Considering there were a ton of employees in the immediate proximity, one of them really should have come over to help other customers. By the time I got to the desk, there were almost a dozen people behind me.
The employee had an attitude from the start. When I explained the situation, she rolled her eyes at me and asked, «Which air conditioner?» I replied that the customer service hadn’t specified, but that Malik was the one who had arranged it. She knew who I was talking about but, instead of calling him over to clarify, she just repeated, «Which air conditioner? If you go get it, I can ring you up.» I told her once again that I wasn’t sure and this time told her that the info would be reflected on my account. As I tried giving her my order number, she cut me off, saying, «The info won’t be on your account.»
For the millionth time in our three minute exchange, she rolled her eyes at me. I wanted to rip them right out of her face and shove them up her ass. At this point, I lost all patience with her and said, «You know what, forget it? I’ll go to a store that values my business.» Then I just left. I should have gotten her name and regret that I didn’t.
I’ve since ordered the same air conditioner at the Staten Island location. I did this at 8:30am and it was ready for me less than an hour later. I’ll do a separate review for my experience there, but it was a much more pleasant experience and well worth the bridge toll.

This review is for the cabinet section of the store. We had gone to home depot to look at cabinets, as we are renovating our kitchen. We had gone to a boutique style cabinet place at first, but their prices were outrageous… we reluctantly went to Home Depot, not expecting to get the same service… but boy were we wrong! After paying a fee, someone came to measure our kitchen. Once the measurements were in, we went back to Home depot and sat with a WONDERFUL designer named Michelle to design our Kitchen. She was so helpful and so nice and funny too! She laid out the plans and emailed them to us with pictures (the boutique cabinet place wouldn’t give us anything, not even a plan until we were in contract with them). Over the course of a few weeks while we were busy making our decisions, she made several revisions until we had the perfect kitchen. She was great at getting back to us via email and getting us the best price possible. She even let us know when the sales were going on. We finally placed our cabinet order and can’t wait for our kitchen to be done! Big thanks to Michelle for all your help!

I come here whenever I am in need of household items or supplies. There’s always a great selection and they are usually pretty well stocked.
BUT the check out area is the worst! Always long lines and very slow cashiers. Don’t ever come here if your in a rush.

Came here to look at some pots and other gardening supplies as well as some cacti/​succulents. However I was disappointed to see more than half of the plants dead or withered, which probably says something considering cacti/​succulents don’t need too much caring. When I went to checkout a lady was standing at a cashier register, clearly bored and instead of just letting me pay, directed me to a self checkout machine without much explanation or help. I’ve only used that kind if a machine once, therefore struggled to pay for my mere 3 small items for a good 10 min…

Have you tried calling this place to as a question? Aside from noone picking up, the recording hangs up on you midway through it telling that «all their «associates» are unvailable assisting other customers” — DOUBT THAT.
I couldn’t believe it, so I tried calling 2 more times– with the same result.
I’m taking my business to Lowe’s.

Home Depot is an American retailer of home improvement… construction products and services… And it’s nothing like a mall… Its a store where you get wood and tools and supplies for building you can also get soil and yard tools… huge parking lot… oddly Parking lots always full…

My gear shifter snaps while riding in Brooklyn rendering the motorcycle out of commission, so with broken bolt in hand and needing a quick solution to get it functional, in I went. I’m not feeling particularly hopeful at this point as I reach my first customer service rep. Home Depot has proven to be lacking with regard to customer service within the majority of locations I have transacted with.
A torch $ 43.00 and replacement ⁵⁄₈ bolts, washers, nuts. The center punch was $ 16.50 not including tax on either. I was surprised. I figured the parts to run about $ 30-​$ 35 which clearly didn’t happen.
Probably driving my cabbie nuts, I returned into the store twice as I was forgetting a few additional items. Screwdrivers, wrench, chisel, all equally important stuff for my attempt.
The associates in this location took the time to focus on my questions and deliver immediate, knowledge answers. Shout out to aisle 18ers.
