The Laundry Stork is ALWAYS OPEN. We’re like an ATM for dry cleaning and laundry. Swipe a card to get in, drop your clothes in a locker, and we pick up, clean and return your clothes, all the while emailing you throughout the process so you know where your clothes are. We also offer home delivery options (see our website).

History

Established in 2010.

Originally founded as a pick up and delivery service, in 2014 The Laundry Stork opened its first ²⁴⁄₇ dry cleaning and laundry store at 568 Union Ave in Brooklyn. We use digitized lockers and software that allow you to drop off and pick up your clothes at any time of day or night, any day of the week, including holidays!

Is New York cramping your style? The noisy streets. The constant stress. The busy lifestyle.

As a young New York professional, I was overwhelmed by a demanding schedule and in dire need of a solution to cut down on my «chore» time, which seemed to ruin all my free time. I began searching for a laundromat to make my chore time a little less dreadful. I was shocked by what I found: many laundromats and dry cleaners were dirty, neglected their environmental impact and had inconvenient hours.

I quickly realized that the industry was catering to the wrong needs of the customer, and so I set out to do something about it.
