My husband and I had been together for 6 years before tying the business and we’re not much for feeling the need to overly state how much we love one another. Of course, we love each other more than life itself, but we didn’t feel the need to shout it from the rooftop. Matt understood that and Jen knew exactly how uncomfortable we were with photos. We should’ve drank, however, she made us feel incredibly at ease. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

What more can I say other than AMAZING!!! Matt married us in Brooklyn on 5÷15÷15. He was able to truly capture who we were as a couple. He told our story in the most hilarious, yet heartfelt way I could of ever imagined. All our guest couldn’t stop talking about him and how great our ceremony was. Matt was an OUTSTANDING officiant. For our April 4, 2015 wedding, we wanted to have a non-​traditional ceremony full of laughter and smiles. He exceeded my expectations and truly Brought the Funny without compromising the serious and «once in a lifetime nature» of the occasion. In addition, he is reliable and a true professional; you will be in excellent hands on your wedding day. We received a bajillion compliments from our guests that it was the best ceremony they had ever been to, and they loved the quirky and lighthearted vibe, and about ¹⁄₃ of those guests barely spoke English. Matt also accommodated my request to read a children’s storybook as part of our vows, and he kept not only the adults but also the children extremely engaged. Please please please choose Matt for your ceremony; I guarantee you it is a decision you won’t regret!

Matt was amazing! He married us last August in Brooklyn and couldn’t have been more helpful throughout the process. His questionnaire that he asks you to fill out to craft his speech was a really fun task for us — we worked on the questions together but kept our answers secret. Hearing our words about each other worked into his ceremony was really special. Matt’s ceremony was lighthearted without being a comedy, and our families both laughed and teared up during his speech.
Matt pulled off everything we asked him to do perfectly, and we had a lot of specific timing and facets to our ceremony. Also, everyone loved the white suit he wore, so that was a talking point long after he left. Matt really should have far more reviews on he than he does — and we’re sorry it’s taken us ten months to write ours! After a wedding nobody remembers to do these things, so just know that Matt will pull off whatever your vision is perfectly, just like he did for us.

Matt Levy was amazing, accommodating and flexible! Plus he’s a great person too. Our wedding was pretty casual and kind of spur of the moment. He asked us a series of personal questions via email and we chose him to write our vows. What he came back with was funny, thoughtful, and wonderful. He adds a spark of fun and enthusiasm which was perfect. Thanks many times over again and hello from Seattle, Matt!

Part loving ceremony, part roast of the Bride & Groom, the ceremony that Matt put together for us struck the perfect balance of laughter and sentiment, delivering an event that would be memorable to us and our families for year to come.
