The Tiny Scientist is an amazing hands-​on AND minds-​on science center for children ages 2 – 11. We are located in the Windsor Terrace/​Park Slope South section of Brooklyn. At our new space, scientists will laugh, learn, question, explore, get messy and foster a lifelong love of learning by experiencing first-​hand that science is FUN!

Meet the Business Owner

Julie G.

Business Owner

Julie G has well over a decade of experience studying science and how to teach it to children. Julie has two undergraduate degrees in Biology and Education from Hunter College, 2 years of lab experience at Columbia University, an MA in Math and Science Education and nearly a decade of experience teaching science in elementary school. Her background has afforded Brooklyn native Julie G the tools to help thousands of children open their minds to the wonders of science. «Teaching young scientists to formulate questions and then find ways to answer them independently is a skill that transcends childhood and turns tiny scientists into free-​thinking adults.» Julie G is currently teaching science and working on a Horticulture Certification at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens when she finds time.
