Stay away from these shysters ! They are only looking to make a fast buck and sell you a tire when all you need is a patch. I rue the day that I went there. These guys are scammers, keep your money and find some place reputable cuz this ain’t the place.

Fast, friendly and reasonably priced tire repair service early in the morning and got me back on road ASAP. My new go to place for any tire issues.

Initially thought it was a good place to get my tires done…

— Improper plugging of tires!!!
After eating two nails over the course of two months (Thanks, NYC), I’ve had to get my tires plugged here more than once. They do a quick plug from the outside, meaning that if the seal isn’t tight, it might come loose… which is what happened to me.
Unfortunately, as I learned the hard way, this isn’t the right way to fix a hole in your tires. The only proper way is to do a patch-​plug, where they patch it from the inside of the tire and plug from the outside as well, for a full seal.
When I took my car to another place to get a patch-​plug, they discovered the way that this place pushes the plug in (with what appears to be a flat-​head screwdriver) caused the hole to be exacerbated on the inside, meaning that the plug actually damaged my tire more! Do yourself a favor and get a patch-​plug done somewhere else. It’ll be slightly more expensive at $ 25 and around 30 minutes of your time, but it’s a more permanent solution than the simple plugs done here

Wow. Just wow.
I had a screw in the tire. Drove up and I had barely stepped out of the car (seriously, I’m not kidding) when they started fixing the tire. 60 seconds later I was on my way again. I was so stunned I gave a $ 10 tip.
I guess this is the closest thing to an F1 pit stop I’ll ever make.

In and out in about 15 mins. Said it was 20 on the phone to fix a flat but only charged 15, ended up giving 20 bucks anyways.

Nice, friendly owner did a quick and painless plug job when the GTI caught a flat today and I couldn’t get the wheel off.

Needed a flat fixed on Sunday, they were the ONLY people opened. I was in and out in 10 minutes, guy was great, really nice. Cost was $ 15!

Showed up with a flat tire and was in and out of there with a new one in 10 minutes. Friendly staff. Bring cash or they charge $ 5 for credit which wasn’t a big deal to me.

This place is AWESOME! I pulled up at 6:45AM and they were walking up to my car with a jack and got right to it! They found the hole in my tire and patched it up. I watched the entire process and was impressed with how thorough they were.
And then I was shocked when they told me how much it would cost… FIFTEEN DOLLARS!!! This is that place in NYC where you can get anything worthwhile for $ 15.

I had a flat tire on my GTI back in April, found them on Unilocal,and called to ask if they had a replacement Pirelli P-​Zero Nero in stock, as these are expensive ($ 120) and not always available. They said yes. I arrived and they told me they did not have it in stock, but in fact had a similar used tire available. Ok… Mine is flat, I don’t have time to find another shop, so $ 75 later and I’m on my way. Cash only as the credit card machine was down (I’m told after everything was done).
Fast forward to August. My car is at the dealership for maintenance and I am told that the one ‘different’ front left tire was mounted backwards and has been effectively destroyed. So now I have to buy a new one anyway.
Maybe my experience was an isolated incident, and it seems from other reviews they have done well with basic tires/​mounting. However, I would definitely double check that what you’re purchasing is what you expected and is installed correctly.

Great place — they had plenty of work when I showed up with my flat but I only had to wait for five minutes. They took the tire off, showed me the damage, explained the fix, gave me a low price and voila: 20 minutes later I was back on the road. Highly recommended!

I cannot say ENOUGH about how great this place is. I drove up with a donut on my car; they winched it up immediately and fixed my tire for only $ 10! Fast, cheap, great service – they are my new go-​to place for tire issues. Would definitely recommend!

I had a screw stuck into the rear tire of my scooter. I came in and the guy looked at it and took the screw out, put a rubber tube in and pumped some air in. All was done in a few minutes and I paid $ 10. I was very satisfied.

These guys are far better than the other 1 star review. I got a set of four matching nearly new tires 4 years ago from them for an amazing price of $ 125. Never had a single problem with them. When the front ones wore out I went back for 2 more recently. I’m just as happy with them. Also had a couple of flats repaired here with no problem. I should also add that I have a friend who went for a flat repair to find that he had a bent wheel. The guys here got it back into shape for an additional $ 5. It looked no worse for the wear and has been fine for 4 years now. I live just around the corner from Pepe’s tire on McGuinnis and much prefer this place.

I used to like them; always open always ready BUT a few weeks ago my husband I went and brought our flat tire to them and they told us that there was nothing wrong with the tire, someone took the air out. We left very upset and trying to figure out who would do that because it would have happened in our garage only to almost get killed 3 weeks later on the highway the night after Thanksgiving when the tire blew out in the dark going 65 miles an hour and a lot of other cars around us, in the fast lane.
