Horrendous owners, they give you such an attitude as if they’re better than you. Their material is cheap and they charge more than others for no reason. If they make a mistake whether it’s a mistake in size or if they break one of your medals you purchased from them as they are putting it on the name plate holder, they say you allowed us to so if you want another one you have to pay. I tried on a jacket in 2 different sizes and they gave me the wrong size when I came back they said no exchange, I told them but j just brought it and the lady said you should have made sure before I rang it up its to late. I called up to make sure she had a certain item, she told me yes after I came all the way down they said they didn’t have it with no apologies and stated then go some where else. You are better off going to Meyers trust me when I say this.

Rip off. This place sells cheap knock off merchandise at the highest prices I’ve ever seen. Worst buff shop in the area.

Best quality uniform shirts I’ve experienced in the city. Before being promoted My navy blues never faded like other shirts I’ve purchased in other police equipment stores. Now as a supervisor my white duty shirts stay bright. My arm patches are able to withstand bleach. Not a good source for duty boots, the choices were minimal, Bates, 5.11. My turtle neck shrunk horribly, will purchase 1 size larger next time.

Does not offer refunds or exchanges. Very inconvenient and would not even offer a store credit which doesn’t make sense to me if I am still going to buy something from the location. I do not recommend this buff shop. Not willing to compromise or help the customer. I will no longer shop at this location.

Very nasty on the telephone. Gave vague answers to my questions and made it seem they didn’t want my business! So now they won’t have it! Plenty of other emergency service equipment places to chose from!

This is the holy grail of police stores. Seriously. I’ll admit sometimes they can be a little crazy over the phone but just go in person. They dont throw any high pressure tactics at you, and they are always ready to help. Put it this way, I live by another police store in Queens and I still make the long haul to Brooklyn almost everytime to go to Parks. Go here and youll leave with the highest quality items you can find with the best service out of all the stores in the city.

It’s 2015 not 1915 and this BS about not giving prices over the phone is soooooooooooo 20th Century! Get over yourself because technology will replace you in a heartbeat. You’re not selling state secrets!

Horrible customer service. Dropped off 3 pants to get altered and still waiting. Called them and was told that the pants where ready. Went to pick them up and nothing was done. They argued with me and told me that all the rips where repaired. Problem is that pants where never ripped. Called a week later and was told pants still aren’t ready and argued with me again. 3 weeks to let out 3 pairs of pants? These people are rude and unprofessional. Go somewhere else.

I’ve been coming here for over 20 years. The staff is always courteous and offer help the minute you walk thru the door. It can be crowded some days but it shows how many people come here. It’s more pricey then the equipment section but I can always count on them having what I need!

I have come to this place for almost 15 years now and the staff has not changed, nor have they seemed to age! I’m sure the lady here will be most happy about that opening comment… lol. The quality of the clothes are pretty good, long history with the NYPD as evident of all the photos on the wall. I am actually closer to Meyer’s on Flatbush but have made the trek down 3rd Ave on more than one occasion. One thing about Meyer’s is the fact that they have 5.11 gear. Be ready to wait here, this place is very small and can get very crowded. Despite that fact, its worth the trip and kinda understood tat this isn’t a fast food place and it may take awhile to get your stuff and get out. Parking can be difficult here. I will continue to recommend this place to others.

Quality uniforms for specialized units with standard uniform shop prices. The staff is helpful and any adjustments needed or issues with their uniforms were resolved. I was referred here by co-workers and I recommend Park’s!

I work with several people who swear by Parks’ clothing for EMT uniforms. Intrigued, I called up Parks to get an estimate for some badges. I found myself getting screamed at over the phone by a hostile employee when I asked for a price quote. I was so frustrated I went elsewhere for my patch. Personally, rude service really turns me away from an establishment. If this isn’t going to ruin your day, then you may find something of quality at Parks. .
