I have been a private tutor with Varsity Tutors for one year and I’ve had about a dozen students and professionals. It’s been a great, seamless experience.
One of the best benefits of working with Varsity Tutors is that I don’t need to spend my time finding clients. Quality students and professionals are referred to me by Varsity Tutors. That means I can spend more time helping my students. I work full time at JPMorgan Chase in Manhattan so saving time is very important to me.
Another way that Varsity Tutors helps me is that their systems for online tutoring is very easy to use. It’s intuitive, so I didn’t have to spend hours learning how to use a new online teaching system. They also have a very simple billing system that allows me to not have to discuss money with my clients; that helps to avoid any awkward conversations. My rate is set and the students either accept it or not. No hassle.
The students have been great. They’ve all be very bright and engaged. They show up on time and ready to learn. The screening process that everyone goes through ensures this.
I plan to continue working with Varsity Tutors for the foreseeable future.
