Verysweetlife Studio

I was looking for a class that would teach me the basics. I googled sewing classes in Brooklyn and found Very Sweet Life Studio. Their schedule fit mine so I gave it a try. I feel so lucky to have ended up there. Sarah, the owner is a fantastic teacher. She’s patient, knowledgable and overall, a really nice person to be around. She was happy to have my daughter, 12, take the classes as well and is great with her. The classes are small so there’s lots of personal attention and the cozy, unpretentious atmosphere is completely unintimidating. The studio is easy to get to by subway and easy to park near if you’re driving. I’ve taken two series of classes so far and plan on sticking with it.

I really wanted to learn to sew, so I signed up for two different sewing classes at verysweetlife in Brooklyn and they were GREAT! The classes were small– so you get a lot of attention and the teacher was really easy to understand and incredibly knowledgeable. You can also use their sewing machines or bring your own. I would definitely recommend taking a class there.
