There is no better dentist, nor staff then Settecase’ s office. From the exceptional appointment staff to the dental hygienist, to the dentist himself. I have SEVERE dental anxiety. Rose, the lovely assistant made me feel calm. Raina, the dental hygienist, took such care while cleaning my teeth. She even showed me how to floss correctly!
I am a big dental chicken, but because of the exceptional care I received at Dr. Settecase’s practice, I’m going back in 6 months. Best dentist EVER!!! I highly recommend this practice.

Just got a root canal and again great service and good people!!! Great dentist!!! I recommend anyone who thinks that they have a problem with there dentist to try him out and if you’re not happy blame me lol. Staff very professional cleanest most modern dentist office I’ve ever been to check it out

I was in New York City from Florida visiting friends in bay ridge Brooklyn this past week and I started to feel a lot of pain on my upper left part of my mouth for a couple of days since I was only visiting for a week I called my family dentist in Florida and he told me and to go to a local hospital. I went to methodist hospital and they had me waiting for hours while I was waiting room I started to google local dentists because I couldn’t take the pain anymore so after calling 5 or six dentists I finally found a dentist office willing to take me without asking me if I had insurance or how I was going to pay. It was late and the office was closing but the girl that answered the phone just told me to come in at this point I was literally crying !!! The pain was unbelievable!!! So I went to dentist office and the staff was great got me right into a chair and then dr Vincent A settecase came into room in a Matter of seconds he checked me out and had x-​rays done with in 15 minutes I was told I had a infection and needed a root canal but I explained to the dentist that I don’t live in New York and I don’t have money for a root canal he told me that his priority was to stop the pain and perform the root canal after I was done he told his staff took my information and the dentist told me to go see my dentist as soon as I get back to Florida. Vincent a settecase is a gentleman and his staff members are assume!!! Words cannot describe how what a job he did and how comfortable they made me feel. When I got back to Florida I went to my dentist not only did he tell me that whoever did this root canal did great job but when I called to give my insurance to Vincent settecase office they didn’t take it so Vincent settecase himself told me what it cost and the price was fair so I told him that I don’t have all the money right now and he said to just send it in payments as I get it and he even sent over all the ex rays to Florida overnight delivery at his cost and didn’t even mention that when I got the bill he even called me the next day before I left to make sure I was okay!!! Who does that! Never have I ever experienced such a great guy with a great staff in my life that’s why I’m giving Vincent a settecase 5 stars for his unbelievable service and excellent staff members who are just as nice and professional as he is. I just wish he lived in Florida so I can use him as my dentist but if I lived in Brooklyn and for anyone reading this Vincent a settecase and his entire staff members are amazing 5 stars for everyone !!!

Dr. Settecase gets two stars instead of one because after all I think that he is a good operational dentist with skilled technique. However, Dr. Settecase leave a lot to be desired in term of bed side manner and customer care. He barely greets and acknowledges your presence. One has the conviction after the first encounter that you are just an amorphous surface on which he works. There is no conversation whatsoever during the visit and he nevr cares to ask if you experience pain or other. He has and intimidating and superiority attitude relating to his assistant and other staff. NO one talks, you can cut the heaviness of the tension in the room. Gives minimum explanation for the procedure and he does not care for you to reply. Noted poor infection control practices in place in the office: environmental disinfection is done without following proper contact time, i. e, disinfectant is sprayed and immediately wiped (no disinfectant has immediate kill, rather it needs to be applied for the required time). In addition a dental tech after cleaning surfaces immediately tuned around and proceeded to examine my mouth with the same gloved hands just used for cleaning. I went to Dr. Settecase for an implant. He told me flat that the insurance would not have paid because my procedure was considered cosmetic. I then paid $ 1500 in two installments. I asked the office to file with my insurance regardless. My insurance reimbursed $ 825. Unfortunately the insurance send the check to Dr. Settecase’s office that despite any of my argument decided to give back only $ 675. They refused to turn over to me the full reimbursement. Their reason: they were not expecting the insurance to pay, but since they did, they took their share. BE AWARE.
