I have been a customer of VLS since we moved into the neighborhood 3 years ago and have been blown away by their service. In addition to ordering specialty prescriptions for me and always dealing with the difficulties of insurance company they are a compounding pharmacy so they can customize medications for you.

I’ve been going to VLS for five years. Every time I go it honestly restores my faith in humanity. Gopesh remembers me, makes sure that I get what I need when I need it, and clearly explains weird and complicated insurance stuff that would otherwise be baffling. This is remarkable enough, but even more remarkable is that he does the same for everyone who walks in the door. The level of compassion and care is what every pharmacy ought to have, but no others do. When you’re sick or in need of the right medicine it’s so good to have someone you can trust who’s there for you. Thank you, Gopesh and the rest of the VLS team!

I really appreciated the the pharmacist taking the time to explain how and why my medication was reimbursed by my insurance. And solutions to bringing down the price. After shelling out money to Duane Reade thinking it was the only option, it was refreshing.

I will never come back here again…
I wasted 1hr of my time here all because they «thought» that I had stepped out so they didn’t bother calling my name. How do I know this?, After I saw that I’ve been there for an hour, I got up and asked what was taking them so long, they replied with «we thought you stepped out» really?, so these people ASSUMED I stepped out and didn’t bother to call out my name. What really bothered me was that the medicine was just sitting there and the pharmacist seemed very careless, and they tried to yell at me saying that I left, when I was there the whole time.

I love this place! My medication was on backorder so the pharmacy compounded it for me! And instead of a tablet they made it a delicious strawberry flavor liquid. They were fast, worked with my insurance and counseled me on a supplement to take too. Would never go anywhere else!

I have loved Gopesh, from when i was a young girl, who lived in Sunset Park all my life. I trust him so much. He takes care of my mom and dad and everyone in this community knows who Gopesh is. He knows how to talk to people even when they are at their worst. I know, i have seen it. He is so devoted to his community, he is like family. Just one thing, I need to know how he stays looking so young. :) May God continue to bless you!

This is the only pharmacy I use living here in Sunset Park. Gopesh is, in my opinion, one of the most knowledgable pharmacist I have ever encountered. He is very neighborly and helps to accommodate in whatever way he can. There is a reason why do many residents here go to this pharmacy.
