Warehouse Liquors

I love this place! There’s not a large selection of wine & liquor stores in this area so I love the fact that they are right around the corner from my house! I can come in, fill up a case and carry it home. My husband frequents their spirits sections and I usually stick to the wines. The guys are really friendly and helpful (and they speak ENGLISH), the place is organized and they carry a really wide selection. Sometimes I drop in after work and just stroll around to see what’s new and chat with the associates. This place is one of the few bright spots in such a desolate, boring area of Brooklyn.

I liked their selection and their service, but didn’t like the wine they recommended. As obvious by my 4-​star rating I am not holding it against them, since everyone’s taste is different. However I will do my research better for my next visit.

If i was an alcoholic and a liquer was heaven it might look a little bit like this place. Minus the boxes that were scattered in the back area the place is spacious, clean and the guy in the front knows his stuff (i dont want to assume he is the owner because assuming is bad). They have a wide selection and stuff i have never heard of (chocolate chili liquer). My only thing is that i prefer the little bottle for variety and that selection is behind the counter. Mos def going back when i grow a pair of juevos to buy the chocolate chili. And thank you «man behind the counter» for recommending the moscato dolce amore. It was divine.

DANGER! AVOID AT ALL COSTS UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF! This may be cheap, but they’re also cheats! If you want to lose your money, do it here. They recommended two bottles of wine, we bought them — and both were VINEGAR! I brought them right back and the Chinese owner (nothing against Chinese, but he’s the owner) said he wasn’t the owner and wouldn’t give anything back. Not replacement bottles, nothing. Now, I buy lots of wine, and normal wine stores (that don’t think you’re a sucker), take the bottle back and return it to the distributor to get their money back. Everybody wins. NOT THIS PLACE. And, though they do have lots of stuff, the other reviewer is right — THEY DON’T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT WINE. So, you’ve been warned. Everything’s great until it’s not, and this place is a BIG NOT! Just saying… (there are a couple of great places nearby).

So much drinks to chose from, good prices as well. The staff was very nice and helped me figure out what botlle to get on the massive selection they had to offer. It was really hard not to get 10 or more bottles, I settled on 4 when I originally came to get 1.

Would give this place 5 stars because of the extensive selection of Bordeaux and California wines, BUT staff has no idea what planet they’re on when asked to find certain bottles. They actually said they’ve never heard of Bordeaux until I walked around and saw an entire aisle dedicated to only that!

You know how a lot of shops in NYC/​Brooklyn are tiny spots, packed to the gills with merchandise? Where you can barely maneuver, especially with more than one person in an aisle?
Not here. This is like the Grand Central Station of liquor stores. You can almost drive down the aisles. The selection is pretty amazing as well, with a vodka section that would completely fill my little Park Slope booze shop. From high end to cheap and dirty, this might be my new favorite place to stock up on adult beverages.
