History

Established in 2015.

I consider welding to be a «life skill», like tying your shoelaces or making Top Ramen — you need to know how to do this– I can teach you.

I’ve been working with metal since I was 18, when this artist lady (she was actually really famous and I had no idea) asked, «Hey, kid– Wanna learn how to weld?» Is that even a question.

Now, I see that same sense of disbelief and awe that I had, each time I teach a new student, regardless of their age. There’s nothing greater than seeing the looks of satisfaction on students’ faces when they’ve completed a project, that at the beginning of the class they thought would be completely impossible.

Business Owner

Gabriel has been welding and creating things from metal for the past 22 years. He has done everything from large-​scale sculpture fabrication, structural steel fabrication and erection, architectural metal and glass work, ornamental metal work, vehicle and art-​car fabrication, kinetic sculpture, restaurant and retail interiors, you name it! If it can be made from metal, Gabriel can teach you how. Throughout the years, Gabriel has taught many apprentices and interns in his businesses, all aspects of metal fabrication. He now brings that same level of care and guidance to anyone that takes his classes. Gabriel uses his diverse background and intimate knowledge of metal fabrication, along with his highly-​refined methods for teaching, to clearly and simply instruct anyone that wishes to learn.
