Let me start by saying that this is the only dental office that I’ve ever actually looked forward to visiting when my scheduled appointments come up – not something you’re likely to hear about other dental practices. The first reason for this is the amazingly welcoming and friendly staff – everyone included, from Drs to assistants to the girls up front at the desk, the vibe is super chill and relaxing – more reminiscent of a spa than a dental office. I particularly appreciate that they play great music in the office, which also contributes to the calming effect. I’ve even heard that they’ve started using a little aroma therapy in situations where patients are particularly distressed in the chair… again, good vibes all around here!
I really appreciate the holistic and preventative approach that the Drs and assistants take. With what seems like the most modern technology available, they get a snapshot of your overall dental health and customize a comprehensive plan to address the issues that need improvement. I’ve been in for a number of different procedures in the last year or so and have found that with each step in the program designed for me, I notice a marked improvement in the overall health of my mouth, which believe it or not, does have an effect on my general health and outlook – healthy mouth, healthy body, healthy mind.
More specifically, I went in a year ago having never in my life had a cavity or braces – really any sort of dental work other than annual cleanings. At that time I was experiencing on-​going and nearly debilitating pain at times in particular areas in my mouth. I thought maybe I had finally had my first cavities? After a thorough examination the Dr determined that this pain was likely stemming from the fact that I had never had my wisdom teeth removed. This clearly was a source of anxiety for me as would be anyone, after hearing about and seeing our friends and family go through this surgery when most of us were in high school. The procedure itself was as quick and painless as it possibly could have been – and the Dr and dental assistant did an amazing job of providing a comfortable and relaxing environment during the surgery. I was in and out of the chair in about 10 minutes for each side of tooth removal. Amazing…
Even more amazing was that after having those teeth pulled, the pain that had been bothering me for months was gone… immediately and ever since… gone.
After a few more follow ups and continuing with the program that they had designed, I decided to get a professional whitening done, which I just had done about a month ago. Landy (the assistant) is quite honestly amazing at this procedure, which can be a little more intense than one might think having never had it done. Not only did she do a great job keeping me comfortable and calm, but the results were nearly shocking. I couldn’t even believe how bright and sparkling white my teeth looked. And to go the extra mile, she made sure that I understood the follow up actions during the week after so that my white teeth would stay that way. Again, amazing…
What I love about this office is that the staff is so friendly and positive and provide a super comfortable and relaxing environment in a place where many people come in the door with anxiety or fear about what’s going to happen that day. Further, they are knowledgeable and professional and truly make you feel like they care about you – which is hard to come by in most any dr /​patient relationship in my experience. WDA is my dental office for life… or at least I certainly hope so… best dental office EVER!

I just finished my Invisalign treatment with Dr Sarah Hubert and for the first time in my life I was told that I have beautiful teeth (by a stranger, not my mom ;) Dr Hubert went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the results and I no longer have to cover my smile in photos with my hand. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The office is clean, modern, and always running on time.

I just finished my year-​long Invisalign journey to straighten my teeth, and I can’t say enough nice things about Williamsburg Dental Arts and Dr. Konstantin Rubinov.
First of all, it’s the most beautiful, stylish dentist office you’ve EVER seen, with cool modern art hanging on the walls, an espresso machine making delicious espresso in the waiting room, and pleasant electronic chill-​out music playing throughout the offices. I’d totally live there if I could.
All the ladies at the front desk and the rest of the staff are incredibly sweet, professional, and helpful. I actually got a hug from one of them as my parting gift after handing over the last set of aligners.
And then, of course, there’s Dr. Rubinov. I’ve been to A LOT of dentists in my life, both in Europe and the U.S., and I have never met anyone who was more knowledgable, competent, and confident. Dr. Rubinov works with the highest quality materials, uses the latest technologies, and continually educates himself to stay on the cutting edge. But perhaps even more striking than his breathtaking competence, is his love for his profession. He is an absolute Master of his craft. You probably don’t think of dentistry as an art form, but after seeing the care Dr. Rubinov puts into making every tooth the best it can be and the pride he takes in the invariably perfect results his work produces, you will.
Seriously people, dental care doesn’t get any better. If you can afford it, it is worth every penny.

As a certified personal trainer I would like to believe that I can handle pain better than your average bear. Last week I walked in to Williamsburg dental arts for the first time. I was a nervous wreck. My fear and anxiety leading up to my appointment was palpable. My mouth was throbbing and my attitude was just inappropriate to say the least. I was really disappointed in myself and so angry for allowing my teeth to reach that level of pain due to years of poor dental hygiene and an overwhelming fear of seeing the dentist. My experience at Williamsburg dental arts was fantastic. I was actually treated with «kid gloves» which sadly I needed at the time because of how embarrassing I perceive my smile to be. I was thoroughly informed of my problem and was given a game plan to attack what issues may occur in the future which meant so much to me on a personal level. The entire staff was beyond amazing and totally considerate to all of my needs physically, emotionally, and even spiritually. I look forward to my future appointments as crazy as that may sound. I have already referred 2 clients of mine to Williamsburg dental and have the utmost confidence that they will have the same level of professionalism and consideration that I received during my experience. I honestly owe so much and feel overcome with gratitude by my experience at Williamsburg dental!

I have been a patient of Dr. Rubinov since 2010 when WDA first opened and this review is long overdue. I live on UES and have no shortage of quality dental practices in the area but I gladly schlep to Williamsburg to get my teeth sorted. Dr. R is the best dentist I have encountered. It is imperative to him that you, the patient, understand exactly what is happening in your mouth, what he is going to do about it and how the treatment plan will be designed. It is collaborative and it is quality care.
His equipment is top of the line: last time, I noticed a new and enormous Zeiss microscope that he bought just so he can «be more exact.»
The only downside of WDA is that they are so good that the schedule is always booked so make sure you reserve accordingly. The ladies at the front desk are super sweet and will even call you to see how you feel after a serious procedure. They care.
You pay upfront for your procedure and they process your insurance. I usually get a check in the mail ²⁄₃ weeks after the appointment.
The office is quite cool with local art and a good soundtrack. Sometimes, they will even play a track upon request. Oh, and you can buy a sonicaire on discount there.

Besides the totally chill vibe and atmosphere completely unprecedented at any other dental office, the superior technology and detailed in depth analysis this place provided has given me a whole new outlook on my dental health. I finally feel like I know the straight truth about my teeth and have a real plan to get them back to their healthiest state. They have provided me a long term plan to solve the dental issues that have been bugging me for the past 5 years and explained problems involving teeth grinding and gum recession that totally blew my mind and explained a lot of my nagging chronic issues. If you have the means, it is really worth paying for independent dental treatment for these superior services and cool vibe rather than relying on insurance supplemented standard dental services. Its like the difference between an über suburban verses a rude cab driver… its just worth it for the experience and in the long term its just easier and swifter.
Before I go in depth about the treatment plan, I will mention the amazing atmosphere in this office. All of the employees (mostly young females, besides the main dental surgeon) are adorable, positive, pleasant, humorous and seems to genuinely enjoy working here. Instead of a scary mundane experience, it makes going into the dentist fun and relaxing. The music in the office is actually cool and groovy, ambient electronic and some chill classic rock tunes, all in all a well-​curated musical experience. The office has a funky artsy vibe, and it doubles as an art gallery with some very interesting contemporary works. The hygienist is thorough and patient and the oral surgeon/​main dentist Dr Rubinov is just awesome and hilarious and fun to be around. Also everyone who works in this office is really attractive, which speaks well for their allegiance to hygiene and cosmetic care. I actually enjoy being in the dental office.
Their technology is way beyond what you normally see in a dental office. They have this huge microscope that lets you actually WATCH what the dentist is doing on a computer screen that shows a huge magnified version of your teeth, instead of sitting there like an idiot with your mouth open. I learned a TON about what my mouth looks like just sitting there for 5 minutes.
I learned a lot of new things about my mouth I had never even suspected. For one my previous dentist had put a bad crown on my tooth, which is why i had some pains in my molars. Most annoyingly, no one had ever told me that I grind my teeth like crazy and have extremely overworked jaw muscles, which gives my face a round baby-​fat «moonface» shape even though I am not overweight. I also have significant damage to my gums and teeth because of my clenching. I am finally getting a mouth guard for this and treating it and am very excited to see how it changes my facial structure, as Ive always disliked my huge cheeks.
ALL IN ALL this dental office is totally worth paying independently for if you can afford to… it is WAY WAY better than a ‘normal’ dental office and totally redefines what I thought going to the dentist was like. It is a pleasant and educational experience and I feel that my dental health is really going to improve vastly… will check in again in a few months. HIGHLY recommended.

Dr. Konstantin Rubinov and his entire staff are truly exceptional! Dr. Rubinov is the best dentist i’ve worked with during the entire 23 years i lived in New York! Amazingly, Dr. Rubinov is also one of the most affordable dentists i had in 23 years in NYC! Dr. Rubinov is a very nice guy with an extremely positive attitude who is skilled at putting your fears and anxieties to rest, as is the entire staff. The office is super clean, contemporary, and part art gallery-​reflecting the creative Williamsburg art scene. Dr. Rubinov performed the least painful extractions and root canals i ever experienced in life! i referred a friend and she had an emergency extraction by Dr. Rubinov and was just as impressed with him as i am! Even if you don’t live in Brooklyn, this is a very easily accessible location. Dr. Rubinov is hands down the very beat dentist i had not just in 23 years in NYC, but in my entire life!

Dr. Rubinov is by far the absolute best. As someone who is TERRIFIED of dentists, having been through several years of horrible denntal experiences, I can confidently say that I will never go to any other dentist or practice outside of Willamsburg Dental Arts. Before doctor Rubinov I had several traumatic, very painful, and poorly done procudres resulting in me losing about 40% (if not more) of my teeth. Dr. Rubinov has since surgically implanted and replaced all of them. The care, ease and of my totally painless surgeries are unmatched to say the very least. From start to finish he made sure I completely understood, was prepared for, and felt completely comfortable with every step of my treatment plan. I was TERRIFIED to the point of tears on arrival but from the second I got there I had no choice but to feel comfortable and trusting in the doctor and his nurturing staff. He went at a pace I as comfortable with, made sure I was cozy, even gave me sound cancelling headphones to plug into my phone so I could listen to whatever made me happy and calm during surgery. I didn’t feel a thing, No pain, SO MUCH gain. I can finally smile and laugh and talk and eat like a normal person again without being mortified thats someone might notice the missing teeth I was too afraid of dental offices to have fixed. Dr. Rubinov is the absolute best and worth every single penny and then some. I will never go anywhere else.

My mouth is complicated with every possible unhealthy scenario. I had tried a few dentists, both in Manhattan and Williamsburg, to get the most comprehensive care, but there was no one who could come close to what Dr. Rubinov has to offer. His continual education for the easiest + best treatment was comforting in a world filled with weird dentists. Dr. Rubinov is only truly satisfied if he can provide you with the best. If you don’t want the problems I had before I saw Dr. R, I highly recommend seeing him. His team, especially the office manager Natalia, matches his level of excellence! She is organized, understanding, and thorough. Dentist 4 life! Crack head mouth turned natural looking yuppie mouth!

Dr. Rubinov is hands down the best dentist I ever had. He is at the top of the game in terms of the latest in tech and process and really cuts out all the anxiety of getting (in my case) a root canal. He was thorough, and clear and uses the latest technology to cut out a lot of the extra steps that some of the older school dentists still use. I cant imagine going back to a regular dentist again. This was the best dental experience i ever had.
I’d also like to add that this place is beautiful. I feel like im at an art gallery rather than the typical drab dental office (never again).
Its hard to believe but i actually look forward to seeing my dentist.

These guys are great. Office staff is friendly and Dr. Rubinov is obsessed with his job! Everyone made me feel comfortable (I typically hate going to the dentist), and I couldn’t have been happier.

Great dental office! Everyone working there seemed super nice and there was no waiting around, I was totally in and out. I got a filling done by Dr. Rubinov who was not only very informative of the procedure but he’s also a major babe so it made the experience even more awesome. I’d definitely refer my friends to this office.

Best dentist/​dental office I’ve ever been to, end of story. But I’ll tell you about it if you want to know.
Dr. Rubinov is obsessed with his work in the best possible sense. Beyond being on top of his game in terms of routine dental work, up-​to-​date tech and equipment, as well as the courtesy and gentleness that are the hallmark of a good dentist, Dr. Rubinov takes great pride in the aesthetics of his work, even on teeth that are way in the back. I finally went ahead and had veneers done on my front four teeth and they are a work of art, as natural looking as could be.
My husband sees Dr. Sarah Hubert who is part of the practice and he thinks she is the best dentist he’s ever been to (I saw her briefly when I had an emergency on a Saturday and she did seem really great). So the jury is out as to which is the most badass dentist. I smell reality show…
The office is great too: modern, clean, airy, comfortable. The staff are super nice and helpful. Not a bad word to say about anything, and I’m crazy discriminating (e.g. picky) about almost everything. Not proud of that, just saying.

While the dental work here itself is good, their cancellation policy needs to be reviewed: I called to cancel more than 24 hours in advance, only to receive what I perceived as a snarky email from the front desk telling me they were charging me $ 75! I was shocked — nowhere, in all of the confirmation emails I got from them, or anywhere else, did I see this policy. If they’re going to charge ridiculous fees for canceling more than 24 hours in advance, then they need to give fair warning. In the future, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Wonderful dentist (Dr. Rubinov), hygienist (Alicia Garcia) and reception /​office staff! My husband and I have been trekking into midtown for the last 3 years for a top-​notch dentist because we didn’t realize that there was a top-​notch dental team in the neighborhood! My husband and I both went in for cleanings… and fillings. We were treated with the utmost care and attention. Dr. Rubinov takes time to examine and to explain your dental health — and how to maintain great teeth. I am so happy to join the Williamsburg Dental Arts family! We’ll be taking our 2 kids there, too…

Dr. Rubinov is great! Moved here from SF, walked in, and have been with him for 2 years. Facilities always spotless, everyone in the office is extremely helpful and polite, Dr. Rubinov is a dental rockstar, talks you thru the procedures, choices, shares knowledge with you (all the things that should be done) via modern equipment, (points to the issue or area on the monitor in front of you). Most of all, he cares for his patients ad looks out for their best interests. My 6 year old daughter and wife also love everything here. Easy scheduling system. Thanks again!

I’ve been a longtime patient of Williamsburg Dental and a huge fan the whole time. I’ve gone in for routine cleanings, periodontal maintenance, had two wisdom teeth removed and am wrapping up my Invisalign this month. This place is hands-​down the best dentist office I’ve ever gotten the pleasure of experiencing. Dr. Konstantin Rubinov is a super friendly dude, who knows his shit. The place plays great music, has awesome art on the wall and the entire staff treats everyone who walks through the door like a friend. I cannot recommend this place enough.

I have had my teeth cleaned before, normally at the same annual dental check up visit. This one makes me come back for the cleaning, three times. Perhaps that is because I have good insurance.
Once there, I find the dentist will discuss confidential medical matters with you outside at the reception desk. He also wastes time lecturing you on the importance and the science behind flossing.
His staff was patient and courteous. But I do not recommend this office.

This is the best (/​COOLEST) dental experience I’ve ever had. The office + equipment are state of the art. Check your e-​mail on the giant Macs or help yourself to the complimentary drinks while you wait (although I didn’t have more than a minute wait). The equipment is pristine and brand new 2, almost space age (in a good way). The dentist, Constantine, is so smart + so sweet. My teeth have never felt healthier.
Now for the cool factor: UMMM yeah. Williamsburg Dental Arts doubles as an art gallery. What a smart use of space! The gallery curator, Natalie is an absolute doll!
Sit back relax, enjoy some fine art and an awesome staff.

No one likes going to the dentist. I hadn’t been in something like 5 years. A friend of mine recommended going to Williamsburg Dental Arts. It was about as good an experience as one can get. The office and equipment are pristine and brand new. Constantine, the dentist, does a great job of putting people at ease and explaining the procedures and their purposes. Plus, I think that the idea to showcase art at the office is a really cool and innovative idea, and Natalie Rafalo has great taste. Obviously it’s a little pricey because, what dentist isn’t, but it’s more reasonable than most and I think you definitely get what you pay for.
