Initial In Home Consultation 90 minutes — 2 hours

Would you like for your dog to be a complete joy? One that your family and friends will comment, «Wow! Your dog is so well behaved and Amazing!» This is where we’ll begin, Maureen will come to your home and discuss what behaviors you are struggling with, what goals you have for your dog and set up a training plan just for you and your dog.

Follow Up In-​Home Visits — 45 minutes Packages Available

Bee A Good Dog has several packages available to help you achieve the results you would like to see with your dog, whether it is just basic manners or you are having specific problems with your dog we can set goals and get fast fun results so that you may have your Dream Dog.

AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Class

This class is for puppies of all breeds to become the STAR in your life. Giving your puppy early socialization with other dogs, people and environments will set your puppy up for a lifetime of success! Did you know that puppies develop very important social skills in their first 12 weeks of life?

Family Dog 1 Basic Manners Class

This class is geared to help you and your dog with basic cues. We will cover sit, down, stay, come, polite leash walking, sitting politely for petting so that your dog is not jumping on friends or family as well as any specific struggles you may be having with your dog.

History

Established in 2012.

I have had dogs and cats all my life. I’ve loved all critters from a young age, and have always enjoyed working and playing with our family dogs. I was taught the choke chain method of training, but that method always felt invasive and it never felt like the right thing to do. I knew there had to be a better, more positive way to train.

Chester the Wonder Pup, a rescue from Boulder Humane Society, has been my biggest inspiration to become a full-​time, gentle-​method dog trainer. I graduated from Rocky Mountain Regional Dog Trainer Academy in August 2012. Since then I have had opportunities to do a lot of hands-​on volunteer work as well as complete additional courses to expand my knowledge while continuing to work clients and their dogs.

Whether you want your dog to learn basic manners and socialization, tricks, or you’re interested in having your dog become a Canine Good Citizen, I am confident I have the tools to help you have the dog you desire.

I am an AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator, a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers and Pet Professional Guild, as well as having received my Humane Trainer Certification and I have also been accepted into the Karen Pryor Academy Dog Trainer Professional Program beginning March 2015! ~ Always learning more to better help you and your FurBaby!
