Kid’s Nite Out

We’ve had two kids on and off attend kids nite for the past year. Never have had a problem with stealing — but we do have the kids get a locked locker while they swim.
I would grade it a «B» — what I don’t like about it is there are no healthy snacks available– lots of candy, soda, and pizza. They also encourage the kids to spend there own money on cheap plastic junk and candy … which is also a pet peeve of mine, but none-​the-​less seems like a decent way to be active with friends for an eve while we get a dinner break.

Every time my children go to this program they come home with one less personal effect. This program is a notorious hangout for thieves. Even the staff once attempted to steal a pair of sunglasses from my son, until he confronted her about it! They have had an iphone, money, tickets, sunglasses and more stolen. Apparently the supervision is non-​existent. Not impressed. If they can’t see and stop the stealing, what else are they missing? Hmm…
