If you want a really good cheese steak on rolls that the owners have tested and researched for perfection — this is the place. The guys behind the line chopping that ribeye have shoulders and arms for days. Whenever we go I think — a little pricey — but after I eat the roll, I am totally happy with a guilty pleasure of «sometimes food!» The owners always come around to the tables and see what we think — even when busy. The kids love it there too.

I was in Broomfield on business. I happened to find this restaurant. Philly Grand Slam was excellent. The bread that they use was delicious. The combination of pepper, onion, mushroom and cheese was perfect. The owner of restaurant was friendly and nice.

Meat was tender and moist, it wasn’t as salty as compared to other places, and the bread was perfectly chewy! They load you up on meat and cheese heavily with the right amount of veggies on the bottom of the bread. If you’re eating in, it’s perfect for couples or a small group. Staff was friendly and very understanding despite all the additions and substitutions to our meal. Will be back!

This place got bought. When I got told that, I gasped and started crying. I decided to try it out, just to see if the new owners had changed anything… needless to say, they had changed EVERYTHING. Worse meat and bread, so the meat was fatty and the bread was soggy. The service was terrible and probably won’t be going back. If you buy a great business, you can at least TRY to maintain it. So sad, because it was a favorite for years.

This place is not as good as it used to be. The roll is tiny and the meat falls out of it. It’s just not good.

They’re under new ownership. It used to be my go to place for subs now I’ll never go back.

They reuse food that has been placed in the wrong places stating it is still good! Hope no one gets sick!

Was recommended by a customer at work, was not impressed. The eating area was not very clean, the soda was flat and watery, the food was okay

I have been coming here for years. I mean since the 90’s. So as far as owners taking over I have seen the one in the past and I have no complaints. Must be new owners yet again, only they are not following the recipes. Sadly disappointed, our sandwiches are not the same anymore. Way to many peppers and they don’t listen well with the orders, or maybe all of us «original» customers confuse them with our ordering. It also took a crazy amount of time to get our food! Either way not the same and no longer worth the price! Bummed out!

New ownership has taken over and quality has gone way down. The owner was yelling at a customer on the phone rather loud and is not friendly. Service is also much slower.

We have been coming here for years, like most of Broomfield. Something has happened and it has slowly gotten worse and worse. My grand slam was nothing more than ground beef and a blob of cheese. Isn’t a Philly supposed to have green bell peppers and onions on it? It used to some time back, but now it’s just mushed meat, mushed cheese and mushed bread. It’s a bummer because we always love to get a big sandwich each, bring it home, watch a movie… Guess we’ll be going somewhere else. And for those of you who are new to the restaurant: The staff has always been rude. The owner isn’t pleasant at all. Seems to hate life in general. I guess because the food was good, it was OK to be treated that way. Now the whole place has gone to sandwich hell. Try BIGDOG deli. It’s awesome!

Ok. So I’m not from Philadelphia. BUT… this is a pretty great sandwich. I usually get the philly grand slam half & half(little mild, little hot). It ALWAYS hits the spot. Yes, the interior is outdated. But who cares? You run in, get your sandwich to go, enjoy the beefy, cheesy goodness. The only reason why it’s 4 stars and not 5, is because I notice something is different, but I can’t put my finger on it. It’s not quite as great as it was the last time, but it’s still pretty great!

I got an Italian hoagie(I have not had a cheese steak here). I’m from Philly and I am picky about my steaks and hoagies. My «sub» fell far short of my expectations. The roll was wimpy and squashed down to almost nothing when grabbed. The roll opening was filled with veggies, and then meat was laid over the opening and roll… like an open-faced sandwich topped in meat. The salami(my favorite meat) was bland… not salty or especially fatty. The other meat which I assume was supposed to be ham was more like bologna, which should come no where near an Italian hoagie. All the meat was cut paper thin. I don’t think there was any capicola on the sandwich. I put this hoagie on par with a Subway sandwich, which I don’t think highly of. I ate a large one and I’m not totally full. I think their hoagies weigh significantly less than a Jimmy John’s sub.

Loose meat piled between two breadsticks. Paper covering sandwich simply pulls off all the toppings upon unwrapping. Can’t begin to describe the microwave hamburger my kid got for her meal-limp, cold and gross. Honestly, the reviews seem as though this place is a shadow of its former self. Maybe there’s new owners or the owners are in a coma somewhere. There’s no reason to try this place over Deli Zone across the street or the Snarfs in the area too

Nope nope nope don’t bother! I’m not going to pretend like I know what an authentic Philly cheesesteak should taste like(do the residents of Philadelphia even agree on that?) but this place has unfriendly service, an unclean and dingy interior, and a bad sandwich! Even though I stated above that I can’t judge authenticity, I’m pretty sure that no sandwich should contain soggy bread and bland meat. Granted, they slice their meat fresh but who cares about that when the cook then takes the meat and yields what is essentially ground beef. There are a couple of other great sandwich joints in the area, leave this place alone.

Perfect seasoning, every bite brought joy to my stomach!!! Space is kind of small & they run it in a fast food type of way but still a good place to get your phillies! Happy eating!

I have been coming here for years. I have never been disappointed. The Philly grand slam is delicious. If you like a kick, get the sandwich hot, there is also a mild and half and half option. Add in the zucchini sticks, they compliment the cheese steak very well! The service is good and it really has a perfect hole in the wall feel! Enjoy!

I have been going here since 1985… crazy it is «Awesome» the best! It make people from«Philadelphia» jealous… No «CheeseWhiz» here! Real cheese and it enhances the flavor. I am making myself hungry! Try the fried zucchini sticks they are the best!

Something must’ve changed at this place. Years ago I remember them having a pretty good philly cheese steak, however, that was not the case today. It still looks the same inside as it always has which is fine, I rarely go to a place because of the décor, but the lady at the counter was not friendly at all. My sandwich came wrapped to go and in a bag even though the other people in my party’s came in trays and presented nicely. You can see the picture I added on how mine came. It was absolutely terrible looking! I first thought they forgot the top half of the roll it was so smushed and upside down, all the meat was stuck to the paper which was gross. It was actually kind of hysterical at how bad of a sandwich they produced. I’m assuming they used some left over pieces of bread and wrapped it to go since it looked so poorly. I certainly will never go back, and quite frankly wish I would’ve got my $ 7 or whatever they charge for that poor excuse of a philly cheese steak back. At one point this place was good, I can promise you it isn’t anymore, don’t waste your time or money.

I was very excited until I got my families food. Our 8″ Philly’s were more like 6″‘s and there was very little filling compared to bread. The best part of the meal was the zucchini fries. The restaurant was clean and everyone was very nice. I guess I just expected more then what we got.
