History

Established in 1948.

In 1948, Robert F. Reid and Robert J. Wright began a small lumber distribution company in Fresno, California, based on the principals of high quality products, exceptional customer service, dependability and great value. Those high standards and our commitment to quality have made us the industry leader in manufacturing and distributing high quality lumber and innovative building materials for more than 60 years.

Robert F. Reid’s son, Robert B. Reid continues the company’s commitment to excellence each and every day.

Our Corporate Division is located in Bend, Oregon and with our distribution center located in Broomfield, CO since 1983 and our Reload Center located in Springfield, Missouri.
