I had been a customer with Wells Fargo for 10 years, bc of customer service I closed my act about 4 months ago.
There is a Wells Fargo near my job and we have gone in once a week for 2 years to get change, quarters. We give them a $ 20 bill and they give us 2 $ 10 rolls of quarters. Recently they have refused to give me change. Today they charged me. I asked to speak to the Branch Manager. Dominic Salonya let me know he was too busy to address my concerns. I then asked for his supervisor’s number and he refused to give it to me.
BIG FAT Zero in customer service. A prime example as to why I closed my act and moved it to Chase.

Awful service as far as problem solving. I had been charged for yrs a 12.97 fee, which i assumed was just a normal banking monthly fee… it would show up after pending as a bank fee… I saw one day it went through AZ, which flagged it for me because I had not charged anything through there. Turns out it was a Identity Theft program that rolled over to my account from GOD knows where… they said my husband took it out 5 yrs ago. Which he would Never have done since his company provides this service automatically. Trying to recoup the $…a joke… got 2 months return. Can’t even call the bank phone # listed because its not connected. Ridiculous customer service, unless you consider popcorn in lobby a plus.

Terrible customer service. I had a dispute over an erroneous $ 60 charge from a merchant on the Internet who ripped me off. After discussing it with the branch manager, he told me to «be carefull where you shop on the web». I asked him to reconsider, because I used my credit card (not debit) and feel like I am a reasonable person for asking for a charge-​back. He refused. I closed all of my accounts with Wells Fargo, which totalled almost $ 150,000 in cash (yes, 150k gone over a 60 dollar displute) and they let me walk.
How can you continue to use a bank that will not protect you as their consumer?
Chase bank, down the street, was more than happy to take my cashiers checks and open me up some new accounts. Chase bank has been great for me, by the way.

Friendly bankers and people who genuinely thank you for coming in to make a deposit.
From opening my account to deposits I have never come across a bad staff member.
Outside ATMs are pretty ancient but still seem to work.
Overall, I’d recommend this bank and this branch for opening an account.
