History

Established in 2011.

Karen Twombly has been making jewelry for 19 years in the foothills of western Maine. Her items have appeared on QVC, in catalogs, and galleries across the country. After watching her dogs, Ruby and Jet, destroy id tags, she decided to create her own. After 5 years of research and design, the Silver Paw stainless steel pet tag was born. Business Owner

Karen grew up in New Jersey, attended Parsons School of Design, SUNY New Paltz, and Johnson State College. Pursuing her interest in jewelry, she formed the business, Metalscapes, in Conway NH and designed award winning Snowflakes for the League of NH Craftsmen. Her work has been featured with LL Bean, Norm Thompson, Boston Museum of Science, QVC, and many others.
