Proof that vegan and gluten free treats can taste amazing! I thoroughly enjoyed the pretzel-bottom chocolate fudge and the brownies; talk about yummy! I’m very lucky to live right across from such a gem; I knocked off one star, only because I really wish they were open more often than just weekends.

The cupcakes and macaroons are the best I’ve had. The fact that they’re also gluten free is an added bonus.

Amazing gluten free macaroons and scrumptious muffins! We are so fortunate to have this bakery in our town.

I got a couple of muffins and cookies. It was all fairly and well-priced. I have had better muffins and cookies, but I cannot say that I have had better gluten free muffins and cookies because I have not really had too many gluten free baked goods. The entire selection is gluten free. It is a very small bakery run by a very kind lady. I do not remember our interaction, but I remembered conversing with her for a good 5 minutes. I can be incorrect because this was two years ago, but I believe she wanted to do gluten-free because her daughter had coeliac disease. She does a lot of fundraiser for local schools and does a lot of personal orders. It’s niche. It’s not for everybody, but it is definitely an attractive choice for people with food allergies or those dumb crossfit athletes who eschew gluten. I would not go out of my way to come here, but I could definitely see the aforementioned people coming here.

While I love an extra helping of gluten and dairy … I can absolutely recognize a quality baked good that is gluten free and vegan. Beth was delightful and we were pleased to meet her son too. Stop by if you’re near … This was a wonderful surprise in Point of Rocks! NOTE! She also has a selection of local meats. This is a big plus!

Delicious vegan and gluten free options. Love the fact that she takes speciality orders and last minute orders!

Need a speciality sweet or bread? Worried about allergies at the next party you are planning on bringing goodies to? Just call for specialty order! The owner, Beth, will happily work with any one for a special order. There is no dairy or gluten in store in any way, amazing for anyone who is gluten or dairy free. Beth also makes vegan goodies.(Like all the cupcakes!) Ask about sandwich bread, too. Everything is amazingly good. My top two picks are;(1)pretzel-bottom peanut butter chocolate fudge, the perfect mix of sweet/salty and creamy/crunchy and(2)chocolate fudge brownies, they are amazingly rich and soft, there are also peanut better swirl, espresso, and s’mores. There is no consistent menu, many things are made when they are requested. If you are unsure about what is in the menu for the day or you would like something special, call the bakery ahead of time.

I am SO happy that this was stop on the Chocolate/Wine walk over the past weekend! I would honestly have never found out about this hidden gem! I am gluten intolerant so have pretty much given up on little treats or simply stick to what I know I can have. It’s possible that I even complained a touch before going in, maybe something along the lines of «Great, a bakery… somewhere to be surrounded by all the yummy things I can’t have.» WELL I couldn’t have been more wrong or more pleasantly surprised. Everything in the bakery was gluten free, many options were vegan as well. We tried the brownies as part of the chocolate walk and I bought a pumpkin cupcake for later on. The cupcake was very good but I have to say the brownie was better! I don’t find myself in Brunswick that often(translation, at all) but now I have found myself a reason to go back! Definitely worth the trip, or planning to make a stop on day out. There is plenty to do near Brunswick Vineyards, canal, etc.

Had out of state guests in town for Easter. Three of them are gluten intolerant. Easy fix for their quick breakfast or snacking — so I thought. I bought the lemon blueberry muffins(crumbly texture and odd taste), coconut macaroons(enjoyed immensely), and the cinnamon swirl bread(not like bread but even better that it was like cinnamon cake). Everyone here agreed to the comments. Gluten free has come a long way, but there is still room for improvement. If you need gluten free, this is the best place to get it. Just don’t expect it to taste like the regular varieties. Remember to order ahead as this shop is only open on Thursday and Saturday. Order the cinnamon swirl bread and serve it for dessert. We used it for French Toast.

I was SO excited when I found out this bakery was going to start participating in the Saturday Rockville Pike market and the Sunday Bethesda market. The first time she was at the Pike market, I got there later than I usually do and quite a few of her items had already sold out. I did pick up a pumpkin cupcake, and found it to be quite delicious(although the frosting was a tad sweet for my taste). The following week I tried the peanut butter brownie, which was amazing, although I would prefer a tad more PB.

A better choice? How about the only choice. Yes she makes gluten free and many vegan options but seriously you can’t tell from eating them. These are some of the best pastries and cakes I’ve ever had. I had a birthday party and needed a milk/egg/nightshade and gluten free cake and honestly it was the star of the night. Everyone went back for seconds!

Best kept secret! What a treat to find a gluten-free bakery with pumpkin bars and other treats to fuel a bike ride along the canal. I highly recommend stopping in for some take-out. :-) The baker shares her store front with more local folks who have additional crafts to sell — a resourceful way to support this quaint main street economy. So if you are looking for gifts or artisan soaps, it’s more than just a bakery!
