Cool As A Moose® is the cool place to shop in Maine for apparel, gifts, souvenirs and sunglasses. Designer sun-​glass brands including Oakley®, Native®, Maui Jim®, Ray Ban®, Coasta® and Proof® are all available in our store. Apparel is available for all ages from infants and toddlers to kids and adults including a large Life Is Good® selection. We don’t just stop at apparel however we have a large selection of accessories including jewelry, hats, scarves and much more. For the kiddos we have toys and plush abound! Need a shot glass or mug, maybe a koozie to bring home? We have those too! Since 1986, we’ve treated our customers to the very best service and merchandise in a friendly, fun, and professional atmosphere. History

Established in 1986.

Cool As A Moose® began in 1986 opening its first store in Bar Harbor, Maine. Following in the years to come were Freeport, Maine, Portland, Maine and lastly Brunswick, Maine. At the end of 2015 the Freeport, Maine location consolidated with the beautiful Headquarters location in Brunswick, Maine. The Brunswick location allows customers to see down to the screen printing production floor where our sister company Artforms Inc.® is located. Manufacturing is back on Maine Street!
