Oops, something has really gone wrong with this business since my last review. All the nice women at the counter seem to have gone, replaced by a woman with very limited English, and I mean limited, and almost no computer skills. When each visit became a real and time consuming chore, I switched to the other cleaner in town, nicer staff, people who speak the language, excellent computer system: Brunswick Plaza Dry Cleaners, 176 Maine St, Brunswick, ME4011, Phone:(207) 725‑5851 Stay away from J&J — something has happened, and it isn’t good.

Went to have two pairs of pants hemmed. The lady at the counter treated my wife and I like we were a huge imposition. No hello, no smile, no information… She just looked up at us expectantly. After I asked her what turn around time and cost would be for hemming two pairs of pants… her reply: «PHONENUMBER». Seriously, nonverbal communication basically said: what the *%^& do you want?” That, juxtaposed by how effusively friendly she was to the gentleman that was there before us has us baffled why she was so curt and nasty. So… off to someone who can at least act like they want new business.

Won’t use this company again. I have found a seamstress in Bath that takes pride in her work and will be using her from now on for all my uniform needs! It pays to have customer service and pride in your work, both of which this cleaners does not have. This is really 0 stars!

I’ve been getting shirts cleaned and some dry cleaning for the past 3 years. Turnaround time is about 4 days. They used to open at 6am and now it’s 7. No problems with the work they’ve done or with the people that work there.

These guys are beyond slow and unprofessional. I brought some things in to them and then they gave me wait times of a week on some items and weeks on others. Then when I came in to pick up my stuff, they had no idea where it was and I had to convince them that I had actually brought stuff in. Then it took forever for them to find it as nobody knows how to use the register. I would cut them some slack, but this has happened three out of three times that I have gone there. Can’t say I’ll be back.
