So I don’t eat sushi, but they start you off with the Eddie Special, just krab fried, but good. I ordered a krab stick roll but it wasn’t fried. I asked if they could fix it like the Eddie Special(so I got Iran rolled in rice, covered with seaweed and deep fried) Heaven!!! I just found my news restaurant. My hibachi was awesome also. YOUMUSTTRY.

This is, by far, my favorite place to get sushi at. Fancy Q’s is the place where my love for sushi begin. The staff are always friendly and they start you off with a free appetizer when being seated. It’s the Eddie’s Special, fried crab. It’s absolutely delicious. They have many sushi rolls that I love. If you like cream cheese then I definitely recommend a basic roll, the JB roll, which is just salmon and cream cheese. It’s so simple and tasty. If you’re wanting something fried then I would definitely try the Fancy Tuna or Tampa roll. Their other food is great as well. They have great hibachi chicken and steak.

Love this place. My husband and I come here at least 3 times a month. Portions are nice.

Very good sushi and service. But the atmosphere can get claustrophobic as they have way too many tables packed into this tiny space.

Nothing fancy. But the food was good. It’s clean. The server was always around. But it was also super slow when I was there. It was fresh and the nigiri had good taste. Standard limited beer choices.

This place is really small in size but awesome! Great fresh sushi that is quick and presented well. Great rolls at great prices. Authentic and very friendly servers too.

Just moved not just into town, but to the south from Vegas and the first thing my mom wants to eat is sushi. This place is definitely on my list. The fish was fresh and nigiri pieces were double the size of the norm. I will be coming here again!

It’s good like their St. Simons Island location. I ended up eating sushi again coz the restaurant next door to it, Eastern Noodles, had a poor and rude customer service. I thought they’d be glad to see another Asian in Brunswick lol. The Vietnamese, Thai and this sushi bar/restaurant in the same area within 10 miles are excellent in authentic taste, value AND customer service. And I lived in Los Angeles and San Francisco for 18 years.

Free appetizer continues to be excellent. Many creative rolls. Teriyaki is consistent and ample for the non sushi eaters giving everyone in your party good options.

This place is an oasis in the sea of strip malls in this area. It’s a total hole in the wall and from the outside, you’d have no idea these guys were churning out some of the best and most creative sushi rolls for miles. What’s sad is that most of the diners I was seated around were ordering things that weren’t even challenging. My coworker and I ordered SIX rolls. They have a full set menu and a supplemental menu that’s double sided. We ordered off of the supplemental menu exclusively. Forgive me for not remembering the names but one of the rolls was topped with mango, another or two was topped with fried banana. The textures and the flavor profiles were amazing. Tiny details to each roll had been made so that every bite had the same flavor/texture. Also, as soon as we sat we were greeted with complimentary soup and tempura krab stick. I normally wouldn’t be so stoked but it was actually pretty good!

Very delicious from start to finish. I was very pleased with our choice of hibachi steak. I usually don’t like the vegetables that they serve with hibachi but the yum yum sauce made them edible and delicious. It was very affordable and fun.

This place is tiny! So you better beat the rush. The food is delicious. The seaweed salad was oily. Didn’t really care for that. But the sushi was tasty. I will. E back for more!

More than delicious! We weren’t even planning on coming here, but it was such a great discovery! They served us an appetizer which was crab deep fried in a light batter and talk about YUM! I was already impressed. We got a salad and the ranch was superb. I ordered hibachi chicken off the lunch menu for $ 9. I got a pretty decent portion. I would like a little bit more rice, but not enough to want to order a side. My fiancée got steak and he said it was cooked delicious. Both of our meals, and drinks was only $ 23. Not a bad price for two people who are leaving stuffed! We certainly will be returning and telling others all about our great adventure. The service was good, expensively because we sat outside and she had all the tables out here by herself.(5) She was really working hard and we appreciate her being so efficient.

Started off with shrimp and vegetable appetizer. Portion is huge for the price, but the quality isn’t great at all. The batter was very heavy for tempura. It was also undercooked. I had the sushi and sashimi combo. Another person in the table had the hawaiian roll(?). The raw fish we both had in our plates weren’t very fresh… Definitely lost my appetite pretty quickly. Both of us had an upset stomach almost immediately after the meal! Two others had hibachi plate. The steak hibachi was cooked nicely but the chicken was very dry. Service wasn’t bad though. Nice enough but not as attentive. Maybe I expected too much based on the reviews here…

Brunswick doesn’t really have many sushi places so hands down the best sushi place in town! I’ve been a regular way too often and find myself coming back for more. It’s right off cypress near Sunset Novelties in a strip mall. The interior of this joint is pretty small, very reminiscent of NY dining with tight fits but overall this place is awesome. The starter soup is so simple yet delicious in every regard. It’s a mushroom flaky tempura broth without the extreme saltiness that your typical Japanese joint serves. I always look forward to it. The handful of times I’ve been here I’ve always ordered from the sushi menu and since I have no qualms about freshness nor taste. I actually am I a fan of there specials rolls and finally ordered Uni(Sea Urchin) and actually liked it. I have ordered Uni many times and always found the taste to be unpleasant so I was quite happy with the flavor here. Another of my favorites is the Scorpion Roll which tends to be a popular roll. The tuna used is beautiful and the avocado is very smooth and fresh. I think my least favorite dishes here is the Udon, Age Tofu and the Sashimi Deluxe special. The Udons have a slimy flavorless taste and texture which makes them kinda gross looking. The Agedashi Tofu’s presentation is definitely lacking and the accompanying sauce is not tasty at all. Most agedashis have bonito fish flakes and aren’t chopped like tiny pieces of liver. The Sashimi deluxe uses entirely way too much Yellowtail, and perhaps because it is my least favorite I wasn’t a fan. However, the presentation was nice just not the variety of slices used. Service here is good, nothing spectacular nor substandard. You get in and out without a hassle. Overall, I will be back. Makes a great spot for lunch or dinner. I’m so happy I found this place!

Small which was nice, service was good, she was very nice and friendly, nice touch of a soup and free appetizer of the house when seated but the sushi and roll quality is just okay. This maybe okay for Brunswick but I am a chef and former restaurant owner and I expect better and will not change that standard. Fish was fresh tasting(no fishy taste) but on par with sushi buffet places in Dallas and Atlanta that turn and burn and have long lines so I again expected more. maybe they can make the menu smaller and more stellar? Would not go back as it was not cheap for mediocre sushi.

Truly love this place and always feel welcome. The place is small with outside seating and great sushi & sashimi that is very fresh. Please be prepared to wait since this is a small location. There is another located on the the island that has more space but is a little farther away. The lunch specials are very filling, tasty, and satisfies most folks. You will always be greeted with a loud welcome and when you leave. Truly a nice place and the foods above average.

Very friendly staff! I prefer this one to the red fern village fancys. If you are in Brunswick it is definitely worth trying. I eat here at lest once a week!
