AutoZone

This is the big Autozone parts store on Texas Ave. With the huge red neon sign & neon strips that wrap around the entire building. You could probably see it from orbit at night.
This store has a bigger shopping area than the C.S.location, and a comparable parts dept. This is where i ended up locating a Haynes manual for my car when 2 C.S. O’Reilly’s, and the Harvey Rd. Advance Auto Parts didn’t have it, or seem willing to get it. I also got an air horn (one of those hand-​held bout horns you used to hear in the stands at football games in the ‘80s) for when an ordinary horn beep or a passionate gesture weren’t emphatic enough. I soon after heard a friend tell of someone he knew who let loose with one of those in traffic, and a cop heard it, and ticketed the guy after detaining him a long time, so I kept it out of easy reach.
