Recently this place has changed staff and is under new management, and in the past 2 years I have lived here, this is the only improvement that has been made. The staff here now is much nicer and they don’t get annoyed and rude towards you if you ask too many questions, like the last employees.
But the main reason why I wouldn’t recommend this place is because everything falls apart constantly, and the maintenance crew hardly does anything about it! My roommate’s door was coming off its hinges and was uneven to the floor, so she called maintenance to fix it and hoping to get a new door as well. The guy comes up, tightens the hinges, and leaves. Her door was now worse than before and she literally had to pick up the door to close it.
There were many small incidents like this, but the biggest issue we have had is the washer. At first, every time we would wash towels/​blankets the washer would spin out of control and bang against the washer side. It eventually got worse and more uneven so I put in a Work Order only to be told that it’s not «technically broken» and they’ll replace it when it gets worse. The front office called and, good news actually ordered to replace it, so I got a new one. After a while, the washer is now worse than the last one and I’m almost reluctant to put in a work order.
Also the outside lights are always flickering or dead and are hardly ever replaced, paint jobs looks super ratchet, only the deadlocks work not the door knob locks, and all the doors everywhere look awful and banged up. In other words, I can’t wait for my lease to end so I can find better quality apartment, or at least one with more competent maintenance workers.

Eh. Management is nice and maintenance crew is alright (even though they don’t really do quality work, they just do it as fast as they can), but he apartment complex as a whole is on pretty bad shape

My son is living here and as a parent I am grateful for the maintenance department that regularly and expeditiously services his request. I appreciate that the office communicates with me (the parent) when needed. Great location and reasonably priced.

The best thing this place has going for it is its proximity to Blinn. The units are not impressive for their rental rates. Whomever is in charge of upkeep between residents should be fired — I have never seen a worse paint job in my life (and I work with paint professionally). There is wall paint covering more than an inch of my ceiling in certain spots, and my bathroom has three different colors of caulk, all of which is cracking and shrinking and should’ve been replaced long ago (use 100% silicone caulk next time and this won’t be an issue). The office employees are all very nice though.

Too bad zero stars isn’t an option. This place is an absolute nightmare. DO NOT LIVE HERE. The staff is extremely rude and unhelpful. The quality of the apartments is not worth your money. I will say that the maintenance crew is friendly and are usually quick to respond when you need their help. You can walk to class, that’s about the only benefit of living at this dump, but that’s not even worth living there. Would not recommend to anyone.

I wish there was some way to have less than one star for reviews. This apartment complex has proven to be a problem from day one. The roommate matching is a horribly flawed system that didn’t match the roommates at all. If you want to get new roommates, you must pay $ 200 to get moved into a new room. There are loud parties at all times of the night, and since the rooms aren’t sound proof and are poorly insulated, they often make it hard to study. There is a constant and plentiful supply of weed smoke rolling through the air vents, and recently a fellow resident fired a gun into the wall, and it blasted through my bathroom. If you get anything from this review, it is RUN AWAY. DON’T WALK, RUN.

My daughter’s apartment was broken in the first week she lived there.
She is harassed in the apartment parking lot coming home from the bus stop.
The roommate match up is a joke. They do not help with roommate disagreements as they claim. Even after continuously reporting drug use, allowing criminals into the apartment etc. the office «management» does nothing. They care about filling apartments & not the safety of the grounds & tenants.
Do not let the location sway you. The Aggie bus allows everybody to ride, you can get to class. The bus is amazing, use it, you will not be stuck.
The apartments are not sound proof, they are poorly insulated, the condition of the inside is quite rough. If you get a tour ask to see an apartment that’s not Staged!
There are no safe stores in walking distance, no restaurants, no entertainment.
