Lapps to the rescue again.
Apparently FORD had a problem with the paint used on the 2010 Focus. If you’ve ever seen a Dodge that has so much paint coming off of it (1990’s) that it was silly… Well, Ford fucked up the same way in 2010.
My wife’s car had so much paint coming off the trunk that I could have swore it looks like it was raining maroon flakes behind her when I was following her one day.
Lapps fixed this mess right. When we picked up the car today after a very quick and reasonable paint job to the trunk and touch up of a rusting spot on the hood, the car looked brand new. I highly suspect they snuck in a wash and detail as well. It looked beautiful. There was no way at all to tell the original paint from the new on the trunk because they nailed it 100% perfect. And for a very reasonable price. We did shop around and they beat other price quotes.
What they did not know is that even if they had not beaten other price quotes, we were gonna use them anyway because of several past experiences, one of which was a major accident repair covered by insurance.
These guys can do full custom jobs like on TV and I think they should have their own TV program. Car paint geeks for sure. Trustworthy, friendly, fair prices and bad ass work. Talent is here.
