History

Established in 1983.

Patterson Architects was founded in 1991, however Fred A. Patterson, Jr. AIA has been in the Brazos Valley Area practicing architectural services since 1983. Fred is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design, Class of 79′ and a Masters degree in Architecture, Class of 81′. Fred began his Architectural Business as Design Intent in 1983 then in 1984 he went into partnership with Charlie Burris and formed Burris * Patterson Architects. In 1991 their partnership was dissolved and Fred started Patterson Architects. Patterson Architects purchased the Searcy building and moved in October of 98′. The former Searcy Clinic was built in 1951. Currently Patterson Architects employees three Architects, three architectural interns and two administrative staff.
