I took a gamble on Chuck’s to provide me a 50 lb pig for my pig roast, with them offering the best prices on a fresh pig. Half the price of a butcher in Springfield and the other place in Clinton only offered it frozen. Let’s just say that they did not disappoint! It’s about 15 miles south on MD-210 from the WWB and lo and behold they said to look for the plastic cow on the front of the building. It’s a strip of 4 – 5 seemingly dilapidated storefronts and once I went inside, the shop is plain jane and not very pretty, but they guaranteed my fresh pig(retrieved from an Amish farmer apparently the night prior). They need to place an order about 5 days ahead of time and they did not require a deposit. Instead of a 50 lb-er I got a 68 lb-er(well I did say I would take between 50 and 60 and there really isn’t a way to guarantee a pig at a certain size). I’m not complaining; I only got charged for 60 lbs. I even picked up a 24 oz plastic container of Chuck’s BBQ rub. The butcher helped me place the black plastic bag sack with its hind legs popping out into my cooler in the back of the truck. The pig was a beauty! The butcher did a fantastic job in draining all the blood from the swine and dressing it! After an injection overnight and 6 hrs later in the La Caja China, it was pure joy! Real pig, real pork taste, no gaminess! Will I order my whole hogs from Chuck’s again?!? You betcha!!!

Called Chucks and asked them about buing a side of beef, talked to Matt and he talked to me about everything they offer, they have many different meats and packages they offer. They can also build a package that has everything you need.

GREATPLACEFORBULKMEATPURCHASES. They will get anything you need! I’ve ordered mass quantities of ribs. steaks… whole and half beef sides, hearts, liver, and even MUSKRAT(no joke). Always on point and always reasonable. I buy my hamburger fresh ground in bulk only from this establishment.
