I had worn through the rubber and some of the wooden heel of my dressy boots. $ 25 to get them resoled in 2 days, and he threw in a polish job. Lovely owner, true small business ethic. Boots look like new.

Definitely not a good experience for me. I brought in boots to resole giving specific instructions on what I wanted. The cobbler offered a suggestion as to type of sole; I said no, sharing directly what I wanted. I paid in advance. The cobbler did exactly what he had suggested and I had said that I did not want. The lesson that I learned is to ensure that the communication is clearer. Maybe I could have written down what I did and did not want? It was clear to me when I dropped off my boots; now I’m out $ 80.00 and I still don’t have what I want.

This guy is amazingly affordable for the neighborhood he’s in, and great quality work. I often use his service for things other than shoes. Such as he fixed a leather coach briefcase and a leather belt for me recently, for only $ 25, done in a week, and the quality was excellent.
