Both reviews below are true. The place is a dump. He’s a super nice guy. He brought out one frame for the painting I wanted to frame (which was lovely). I said I usually like to pick my own frame and he looked bewildered. Then brought out 2 more frames, but I liked his original frame the best. He wasn’t late getting it done but it was over $ 2,000. I have never paid this much for a frame. It is by far my favorite frame of all my art work. It’s hand carved and gold leafed also by hand. I’ve gone back two more times and they were not as expensive but still expensive. They are lovely as well. He also talks to your art once he sees it. You are like the side kick. He’s very good at what he does. He is VERY eccentric. His work is a 5 the experience is something you won’t forget.

I used this place to get some family portraits re-​framed and also a print I picked up in town. The first impression you get of this place is that it is a dump. Most framing shops are a bit disorganized, but this place is a ramshackle.
I met the owner, who is also the only employee. He is a ancient hippie who is friendly, if not a little dopey. He gave me an estimate that was fair, but when I went to pick up my pictures on the designated date, they were not ready. In fact he could not find them in all of the mess. It took him an extra month to get the work done. I would stay away from this place at all costs.
