Dr. Harris and the whole staff are amazing! I researched vets who performed acupuncture and found Pets First. Since I have been coming here, my dog’s arthritis is 100x better! I also started bringing my 2 year old pug mix here as well. She loved it too! All exams, check-​ups, etc. for all of my pets (2 cats and 2 dogs) will now be here! Everyone is so nice, helpful and friendly too! Thank you!

If you’re looking for a vet that truly goes above and beyond, this is the place for you.
Around 5:30 PM, I started calling all of the vets in my area to see if anyone would see my sick kitten. Even the places that closed at 8 were unwilling to see me. I spoke with John at Pets first at 5:45. He got Dr. Heyde on the phone, I explained the situation, and he agreed to see me. Please note that they close at 6. My kitten was seen by a tech and Dr. Heyde. They gave him fluids, prescribed a new antibiotic, and the whole staff pitched in to teach my husband and I how to tube feed him. They spent an hour and a half with us, when they were supposed to be closed, to make sure that the kitten received the best possible care.
I have never seen this level of love for a patient, not even a human patient. Thank you to everyone at Pets First. As long as I live in this area, I will never take my pets anywhere else!

They have provided fantastic care for our five dogs over the last 20+ years. Dr. Hyde, Dr. Harris, and the whole office staff are so lovely, knowledgeable, and caring. They saw my dog for a sick visit on Christmas Eve and called me to check on her first thing the morning of Dec 26! I wouldn’t take my pets anywhere else!

When I moved from the city, I did some vet-​shopping,. I chose Pets First (third place I visited) because (a) they were very willing to show me around, and (b) the premises smelled as good a my living room (fresh, not artificially scented)
I keep coming back because of the great care Dr Giuliani has given my cats in the 11 years I’ve been taking them to her. She even «took care» of me when I freaked out over 1 cat’s FIV+ status (these are my 1^st pets).
Her sensitivity was displayed when she recommended a later visit for my schizo-​cat, advising a kitty-​calmant: «Her heart is racing too fast; she’s terrified».
The staff are appropriately friendly, always polite and willing to explain things. I have never had a problem getting an appointment, nor have I minded paying for the services given my pets. You don;t go cheap when you’re dealing with your children or your pets.

I am a very long time (since 1994) client of Pets First. I have brought 3 different dogs to them, and each experience with Pets First has been extremely positive. The doctors, vet techs, and staff are very welcoming and know who I am and who my dog is the moment we call on the phone or walk in the door. They have always given me all of the information regarding whatever is going on with my animals in order to allow me to make the best and most educated decisions regarding the care I choose. They treat all decisions that I make with respect. I would not want to take a dog anywhere else.

Dr. West and Dr. Giuliani truly love animals. I prefer Dr. West because he’s slightly more friendly, though I’ve never been dissatisfied with Dr G either. He’s very professional, but doesn’t come across as all business. It’s a small operation, with just two exam rooms, but you get personal attention; with sometimes fairly long visits, so you may have to wait while another pet gets the attention yours will as well. Very clean office, great staff and techs who are welcoming and helpful. Dr. West has always been honest with me in diagnosing problems, and in saying when it’s not a job he can handle (like a complicated surgery, or a sonogram that they don’t have the big equipment for). He sometimes comps certain things during a visit, like nail clipping, or tries to reduce your bill for you a bit. It’s not cheap, but petcare never is – and this is *not* a country vet, so it’s worth the cash – though still nowhere NEAR as expensive as going to Penn. One time, he diagnosed her cancer, and had a rotating surgeon come through one day and remove the tumor from her face – cancer free for 2.5 years! He helped us thru a gallbladder surgery performed at Metropolitan in Trouper back in July. Pets First keeps my old girl tickin; they have literally saved her life & I would recommend them to anyone.

After spending several hundred dollars for jacked up $$$ on services over 1 year, I was treated horribly after bringing in a dog who I re-​homing for my Mom who recently had a stroke.
I feel bad for the original owner of Pets First ‘Dr Lilian Giuliani’ having her name attached to a Vet that is nothing but a cash cow heartless venue.
My family went to this vet location for nearly 30 years and now I have to inform everyone in my social network and people in the extended rescue community of my terrible experience.

These people are great. They are professional and really love animals. Everyone on the staff is super educated in dogs and cats and remembers you every time you enter.
The examination rooms are clean and they have the most up-​to-​date technology.
The prices are not cheap, but the service and expertise make this Vet worth every penny.
