Mickey’s Pub

Exactly what I would expect from a local dive bar. Lots of games– pools, darts, cornhole. Reasonably priced drinks. We were visiting the area and stopped in. We had a great time! Def stop in.

I enjoy coming here to unwind with my friends. I like the variety of things to do here, pool tables, corn hole, beer pong and more. I do wish the old bartender was still here. The new one is nice enough however she charged my friends and me different prices for the same drinks or shots. Let’s get the prices together. The other thing is we had to look up drinks for her since she didn’t know how to make them. Bring back the old bartender please.

Interesting dive bar with brassieres hanging all over the place. We stopped in around lunch time after visiting some local shops. Our drinks were good, although the bartender seemed more interested in his phone than in his customers. We will go back.

Good local hang out. Reasonable drink prices with a good atmosphere. Closest bar to Cherokee (pretty much a dry town), well worth the drive if you want a real drink.

I love a good dive bar, and I love Bryson City, Mickey’s does not disappoint! Its down an alley in downtown Bryson City across from Cork and Bean before you hit the bridge. No windows, patio, and lots of parking. The bar is dark and old school feeling with some 200 bras signed hanging from the ceiling! This bar has every bar game you could want to play, pool tables in the back, beer pong table, cornhole, and darts! Also, as every dive bar should have, a jukebox with every song you could want to hear as you get three sheets to the wind. The bartenders introduce themselves and want to know your name and what brings you to town. Also, they are built in tour guides with more knowledge of the area and what to do then many of even the towns locals. Now, there is absolutely no food available, but they will allow outside food either brought in or delivered. For the important info, the drinks are stout and cheap! Pitchers of domestics are like 9 dollars and well drinks at 5 – 7 dollars. We will definitely return and recommend this dive to anyone looking for something wonderfully different. So belly up, introduce yourself, chat with locals, and then shoot some pool or throw some bags! Lastly, tip the bartenders well, they work hard and really enjoy their job!

Just came back from here, very laid back and peaceful town. Had a blast with locals very friendly… there were 2 women bartenders one named Kat, I’m sorry the other woman I don’t remember, but they were awesome! They both made us feel welcomed, their drink specials were decently priced and music was either from their personal radio or the juke box which pumped music extremely well! Pool tables, corn hole, a small dance floor and very quaint for this cute country pub. The only things lacking are more people to have fun with and smokeless free ;) Thanks Mickeys Pub for a good time.

Bryson City looks like it has just a few watering holes: Across the Trax and Mickey’s Pub. While the former looks like the laid-​back establishment to chill for a beer, the latter (Mickey’s) looks like the local’s place to party.
Exhibit A: Mickey’s has a beer pong table.
Exhibit B: The brassieres nailed to the walls and ceiling. It wasn’t an extensive collection but it looks like they are trying to grow it.
Exhibit C: The unpaid tabs that act as a wall-​of-​shame for patrons who run out of the joint.
There is a stage where, I was told, they mix in Karaōke and a DJ. They have four pool tables and a variety of video game machines.
We didn’t stick around for karaōke but it looks like they like to party. I have no idea what the crowd is like — it was deserted when we stopped in for happy hour on a Friday.
One negative, it is billed as an Irish pub, yet they don’t have any Irish beer on tap. They do have Guinness in a bottle. Overall, it is kind of sad to think of an Irish Pub without Guinness or Smithwick’s getting a tap.
