Philosophy: We believe that children learn and grow when they are provided with an affectionate and accepting environment. Our goal is to help children develop habits of observation, questioning and listening. In order to develop a positive self-​image, we believe children should be free to express their feelings.

Mission: Our Mission is to provide respectful, open and continuous cooperation and communication with parents/​guardians, teachers and staff is crucial to the success of any early childhood developmental program. Our goal is to ensure that children grow through play and imagination in a safe and nurturing environment. Following these beliefs will help children develop physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually.

Offer programs infants, young toddlers, older toddlers, preschool, Pre-​K, Kindergarten and school age. We also offer a summer camp!

History

Established in 2014.

ELCA is a proud participant in Pennsylvania Keystone STARS, and all of our centers have earned at least one Star.

Meet the Manager

Dawn C.

Manager

The Director of our Buckingham center is Dawn Camburn, who earned her degree in Early Childhood Education from Pennfoster College. Dawn has been working at the Buckingham center for over 17 years now, and became our Director in 2012. Dawn became inspired to work in child care after having her own children, and seeing the need for quality child care. We invite you to meet Dawn and discuss her love for children with her in person!
