Specializing in private violin and viola lessons for kids aged 4 and up.

My goal is to make music fun and approachable for all students, so we use a variety of methods — Suzuki, Strings Fun and Easy, and even fun music like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. Once you master the basics, we’ll play whatever you want to be able to play! Love fiddle music? We’ll play fiddle!

I also offer group classes and a youth orchestra, which help round out your musical education.

History

Established in 2008.

Ashley Wright began playing violin at the age of seven, studying at the String Connection Studio in Clackamas, Oregon. Besides eleven years of private violin instruction with the String Connection Studio, Ashley also took several master classes with world-​class violinist Alfred Csammer, six years of luthier (violin repair) classes with bow-​maker and luthier Colleen Wheeler, and three years of string pedagogy classes and student teaching.

Ashley started teaching in Washington in May 2008, and currently has a studio of 30 – 40 students. In fall 2009, she formed an orchestra of her students, and hopes to someday give them the incredible experiences she had with youth orchestra. Ashley will also complete her Master of Arts in Education Spring 2013.
