Jack Brown Cleaners

I’ve been going to jack brown cleaners for about 4 years in Austin now. I recently moved to Buda, and tried this location. I dropped off 7 denim jeans to get dry cleaned and starched on Jan. 26^th at 3:30pm. I specifically and repeatedly told the lady that I didn’t want a middle crease, but a flat press. When I came to pick them up, low and behold they had a middle crease. I didn’t notice until after I paid. So now I paid for something I specifically said that I didn’t want. When I told the same lady I dropped the jeans off to, she basically said that it’s not their fault and all they can do is send them back. But once they have the crease in, the imprint doesn’t come out. Even after being repressed. Plus that would mean I would have to take time to come back and pick up again. When I asked if I could speak to the manager, she said «She don’t get back until Monday, and she’s just going to tell you the same thing.»

I disagree with any review about this place, though I have not read them all (there is only one at this point)
It is based exclusively on principal though
They forgot to call us when our dry-​cleaning was done so we did not know for quite a few days if they had done it
But for everything that we got (multiple jackets and shirts and everything) it was only $ 14.
Which is the cheapest ever
And they did an amazing job
And fixed all of my buttons without asking
on my vintage paisley shirts.
I love them.
