I am married to my beautiful wife Monica and we have a wonderful 13 year old daughter and a wonderful 11 year old son. Most attorneys won’t give you the time of day with out signing a retainer, with Robert he will take the time with you to understand your case, this is a case regarding a home that should have been put in trust and wasn’t, Robert has been very kind in guiding me through the process for the most economical way possible, to get the house in the trust, it all worked and now Robert can concentrate on our case. A few years ago when our father passed away, we were clueless on what to do about settling his estate. After calling many probate attorneys in the Los Angeles area and basically being set aside or brushed off by their receptionists we decided to give Robert Cohen a call. He was very attentive and knowledgeable about the process and even met with my brother in his office at no charge to discus a game plan.
He had suggested that we wait a year until things smoothed over and start picking up the pieces from there. I am so glad we took his advice because it gave us time to get the estate property in order and ended up saving us a lot of money in the long run.

How someone treats those they don’t have to treat well tells a lot about the person. By that standard Robert L. Cohen is a giant! I am currently in a very difficult situation with an elderly parent. I have had the opportunity to watch Robert, over the past several years, guide many clients through the often lengthy process of probate. I find that when i work with his clients, that they are well informed of what to expect about the probate process and that nothing «falls between the cracks». I called The Probate Guy Robert Cohen when my father passed away. This is the time when family’s sometimes fall apart and there’s always one member that wants it all. When other attorneys wanted a ridiculous amount of money, for a retainer. Robert put up all the funds and told me to relax I had enough on my shoulders. Robert and his staff are amazing! With all the family’s emotions running high he maintained the peace and got the job done .He always kept me informed on our Case and took care of the sale of my fathers home with a trustworthy realtor. Robert did an awesome job with my grandmothers estate. He really has his clients best interest in mind. He sometimes tends to talk lawyerish, which means the things he was saying were over my head, but if you just ask him to explain things in normal people terms, he really takes the time to help you understand. The estate he worked on for me was quite a mess, but Robert made the process easy and painless. I got in touch with Robert to do the probate on my father’s house. Prior to that I had interviewed a few other attorneys and started to notice inconsistencies in their evaluations and suggestions. When I got to Robert and mentioned what I had been told he cleared everything up and showed me all the codes to substanciate his information. He collected all my information and started the process of probate. He had excellent contacts, from investigators to real estate agent, etc. By the way his real estate agent Rhonda Byrd is super awesome. Robert did not require ant payment from me until everything was complete. Robert and his assistant, Jenna are very helpful and personable. I had a very good experience with Robert Cohen. I recommend him to everyone. He and his team made a difficult situation not seem so bad.
