I’ve come here the last few times I’ve gotten my hair cut, dyed, or permed, and they always surprise me with a wonderful job. Ask for Steve or Theresa!
When I show them a picture, they always please me with the end results. I always like my hair to look more natural, and they always do it well.

I got a haircut from this place and the guy didn’t really do a good job. I felt like he was just chopping away my hair without any regards. He wasn’t even trying to measure just kept cutting, because of that I have a patch in one of my sideburns. Seeing from the other reviews I guess I should’ve asked for another hairstylist.

The 5 stars is for Steve. It’s been almost a week since I got a digital perm here and I am LOVING it. The reason I showed up here was because I knew people who had been getting their hair done here for a long time. They told me to ask for Steve. I made an appointment (they accept walk-​ins though). The salon doesn’t look like much from the outside, but they get a lot of local Korean customers.
The reason for the 5 stars is that Steve is very meticulous and tries his best to make your hair look good. I was a new customer and have never gotten a digital perm before. During my previous experiences with perms, the hair stylist would rush through the curling process. I think that was made my previous perms disasters. Here, I was in the salon for almost 3 hours. However, the actual perming/​heat is not more than 10 minutes, which I was surprised about. Teresa was the one who did most of the talking. She’s funny and helpful. She told me that digital perms last longer (but at higher cost). You can look at my picture. My hair is naturally super straight, and I was very happy with how the perm turned out. :) If anything changes in the next year or so, I will update as necessary.
By the way, male hair cuts are only $ 10 – 15! And Steve is really quick. In the 10 minutes that my hair was drying, he finished a guy’s cut, which didn’t look bad!

I give the 5 stars because of Kim. I’ve been getting my hair cut from Kim for literally over 10 years now and it’s because she offers fair prices and definitely knows what she’s doing.
Although many Asian hair salons have this reputation to sort of ruin your hair or cut it super short when you don’t even ask for it, Kim definitely isn’t one of those Asian hair ladies.
She always cuts my hair as to exactly how I want it and she’s always so friendly.

I had the worst experience here. Theresa was okay, but when the OWNER of the salon colored my hair he messed it up so bad, and still made me pay so much. I was so upset and will not be returning. He had horrible customer service.

Ok the first time I came here they deserved 4 stars. Well at least Kim did. She did a pretty good job with my hair and did what I asked. The second time the male stylist chopped off mine and my sisters hair. My hair was very long down to my waist and I told him I only wanted about an inch cut off and he went all the way above my shoulders except this ugly layer in the back that is about 2 inches thick that hangs down to my where my bra strap is. I am so disappointed and I will not be returning!

Ask for Kim. She’s been cutting my hair for years, and I have friends who also get their hair cut by her. She’s very clean and careful. She washes your hair. She’s artistically minded. She’s fast and smooth. She puts the Top in Top Hair Salon.
